Alghabra said that the Trudeau government is seeking practical ways to require vaccines "as quickly as possible."

The announcement came at the same time as Liberal President of the Privy Council Dominic LeBlanc's announcement that the Trudeau government will move forward with mandating vaccines for federal employees.

Employees will now be required to have received at least two doses of approved vaccine for COVID-19.
Alghabra said that the Trudeau government is seeking practical ways to require vaccines "as quickly as possible."

Transportation Minister Omar Alghabra said during a press conference on Friday that unvaccinated Canadians will no longer be able to travel interprovincially via train, plane, or large marine vessels.

"Vaccine requirements in the transportation sector will help protect the safety of employees, their families, passengers, their communities and all Canadians. And more broadly, it will hasten Canada's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.

How about this?

Anyone who has been exposed to HIV+, AIDs and other STDs should be forced to not only be vaccinated against those diseases but they should have certification proving that they can’t spread it anymore.

We ban Grindr, Tinder and all other hook up websites to protect the population from gonorrhoea as it’s getting increasingly harder to treat due to how much more resistant to antibiotics it’s becoming.

Also, to address the declining birth rate AND incoming demographic collapse we’ll put a total ban on abortion until the birth rate is at 3.5 children per citizen. Gotta protect the aging population, after all.

Oh, and in order to address sex trafficking we’ll pass laws to shoot anyone who illegally crosses the border. They can’t export indigenous girls into the USA to become prostitutes if the traffickers are shot on sight.

Authoritarian simps like you would be fine with all of this, just because big daddy government wills it.

Nope, just telling you how it is. As long as a party leader can form government which has the confidence of the majority of their parliament they stay PM, that's how the Canadian system works.

There are no term limits for Canadian PMs. It might seem like it because most of their PMs can't manage to stay in more than a decade, but that's because of the will of the voters.

Last term? There are no number of term limits for the prime minister of canada. It isn't like the US where you can only do two terms. He could stay in office for 50 years if he could get people to vote for him.

The current record for time in office is from william mackenzie king at 21 years 154 days in office. Trudeaus own father spent 15 years 164 days in office

That said this policy directly violates the guaranteed freedom of movement per the human rights charter. It won't stand up to any reasonable legal challenge, especially considering 2 provinces are islands and a ton of people live on vancouver island and travel to the mainland for job related reasons regularly, and can't be forced to do anything as a condition of doing so. This is going to end in lawsuits and legal challenges
