Full disclosure, I lived in Europe for a few years and still have quite a few friends. It was higher education, so more liberally slanted.
I'd say it's evenly divided between people who see Biden as a "return to lucidity" and people who are increasingly anxious about rising inflation and other significant issues (eg, the future role of the United States in collective defense). If I'm skewed toward discussing the viewpoint of the latter in my post, I apologize for that, but they tend to be the people who message me with questions and observations. The former, not so much. One thing that all of us seem united on (with some disagreement on certain issues) is that the United States can't be Europe, and attempts to make it more like Europe are doomed to fail.
