I’m more concerned about what happens when we are barred from supermarkets (ie the centres commerciaux where most grocery stores are located), which the gov says it will do on a regional level if cases hit some arbitrary number.
especially since my low-iq ex told people that I’ve got food stores.
That would be an incredibly bold move on their part. At any point a nation is roughly nine missed meals from legitimate, open, brutal violence. Hunger is one hell of a motivator.
Part of me, obviously does not want that to happen, because people would suffer unnecessarily and a lot of good people would die, but another part of me wants them to just fucking do it already and kick this shit off. If anything will get people motivated to fill the streets and start making demands that this shit be ended, it's starvation. Then again an army marches on its' stomach I suppose.
It's probably optimistic of me to think the latter might happen, though. Even if they did enact such measures, I'd imagine most people would just give it the ol' "okie-doke" and either get the vax or get groceries delivered.
