Taliban offensive of 2021 and collapse of Afghan government.

The govt hasn't fallen. The whole country has gladly handed back to the Taliban after 20 years of occupation by enemy forces.

How much of Eastern Europe did The West have to fight for to install democracy? None of it. The ruskies pulled back and the countries were happy to have them gone.
The retards in charge should have at least put up a semblance of them being anything more than America's crackwhore. No one is even admitting to how corrupt the government was and looks at this like it's surprising. Biden of all people said Afghanistan wouldn't fall because they have 300k troops and outnumbered the Taliban like an idiot.

The thing that chaps my ass the most, and fuels a long standing dislike, is the fact that this shit could have been over with in like 2003.

I don't remember the units or the exact dates, but three times your average Army grunt had bin Laden dead to rights. Could have fucking taken him with a single drone strike or air strike or even a quick skirmish.

All THREE times the guys on the ground were given the word to stand down and observe, while the White House pushed for Meal Team Six to run out there and shoot him. By the time they got there bin Laden was gone, or it ended up in a total fucking shitshow firefight that lasted 2 days and they blew catching him.

When we killed him during the Obama Administration it should have been "So long!" and bailed out, but no, we had to make feminist ice cream stands, try to push globohomo on them, and funnel tons of money into corps and politico's pockets.

They don't want Democracy. They've never wanted democracy. There wasn't enough of a frame work of a Western-style nation to nation build.

But no, we had to stay.

Worse, is that Trump tried to get us out but the Democrats threw a huge fit over it.

Now Biden fucked everything up because they tried to get a PR stunt out of the withdrawal, and Afghanistan is right back where it was 20 years ago.

We knew from day 1 that the ANA wasn't interested in the goals of America, but they just wanted to give the taliban the middle-finger for pushing them around so much. The ANA in action were not great and were not cut from the same warrior cloth as the taliban.

The reason the yanks were there was a money laundering scheme, simply put. They wanted the mineral resources (not opium or oil, that's a smoke screen) that are abundant in afghanistan. The same reason why the chinks are moving in now.

It's why the democrats threw a hissy fit, they wanted to keep the MIC wheels churning for that sweet, sweet, tax payer funded LARP in the sand. $88 billion was spent training the ANA. Don't ask what was spend per day on keeping the basic infrastructure ticking over, or costs of moving equipment in and out of afghanistan, it will make you very, very pissed off.

Edit: Just to add and repeat what i said before. I'm not a history buff, but i cannot recall seeing or hearing about any evacuation where the army/defence force, pulled up sticks first and left the civvies behind. The whole of afghan should have been emptied of Western civvies before the army left. That is a huge strategic and military fuck up. Yuuge

OrangeMan BAD - Trump Fault
Biden and his handlers finally came out with a statement:

AHAHAHA HE SAID IT EVERYONE CALLED IT
Everybody knew he'd blame it on Trump!
ORANGE MAN BAD

Statement by President Joe Biden on Afghanistan

Over the past several days I have been in close contact with my national security team to give them direction on how to protect our interests and values as we end our military mission in Afghanistan.

First, based on the recommendations of our diplomatic, military, and intelligence teams, I have authorized the deployment of approximately 5,000 US troops to make sure we can have an orderly and safe drawdown of US personnel and other allied personnel and an orderly and safe evacuation of Afghans who helped our troops during our mission and those at special risk from the Taliban advance.

Second, I have ordered our armed forces and our intelligence community to ensure that we will maintain the capability and the vigilance to address future terrorist threats from Afghanistan.

Third, I have directed the Secretary of State to support President Ghani and other Afghan leaders as they seek to prevent further bloodshed and pursue a political settlement. Secretary Blinken will also engage with key regional stakeholders.

Fourth, we have conveyed to the Taliban representatives in Doha, via our Combatant Commander, that any action on their part on the ground in Afghanistan, that puts US personnel or our mission at risk there, will be met with a swift and strong US military response.

Fifth, I have placed Ambassador Tracey Jacobson in charge of a whole of government effort to process, transport, and relocate Afghan special immigrant visa applicants and other Afghan allies. Our hearts go out to the brave Afghan men and women who are now at risk. We are working to evacuate thousands of those who helped our cause and their families.

That is what we are going to do. Now let me be clear about how we got here.

America went to Afghanistan 20 years ago to defeat the forces that attacked this country on September 11th. That mission resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden over a decade ago and the degradation of al Qaeda. And yet, 10 years later, when I became President, a small number of US troops still remained on the ground, in harm’s way, with a looming deadline to withdraw them or go back to open combat.

Over our country’s 20 years at war in Afghanistan, America has sent its finest young men and women, invested nearly $1 trillion dollars, trained over 300,000 Afghan soldiers and police, equipped them with state-of-the-art military equipment, and maintained their air force as part of the longest war in US history. One more year, or five more years, of US military presence would not have made a difference if the Afghan military cannot or will not hold its own country. And an endless American presence in the middle of another country’s civil conflict was not acceptable to me.

When I came to office, I inherited a deal cut by my predecessor—which he invited the Taliban to discuss at Camp David on the eve of 9/11 of 2019—that left the Taliban in the strongest position militarily since 2001 and imposed a May 1, 2021 deadline on US forces. Shortly before he left office, he also drew US forces down to a bare minimum of 2,500. Therefore, when I became President, I faced a choice—follow through on the deal, with a brief extension to get our forces and our allies’ forces out safely, or ramp up our presence and send more American troops to fight once again in another country’s civil conflict. I was the fourth President to preside over an American troop presence in Afghanistan—two Republicans, two Democrats. I would not, and will not, pass this war onto a fifth.

American B-52H bombers are understood to be conducting an attack on the largest Afghan air force base in order to destroy the aircraft based there.

The aircraft are reportedly heading towards toward Mazar-e-Sharif.

“It is highly possible that they bomb the second largest air base of Afghanistan National Air Force now in hands of Taliban. They don’t want A-29B & AC-208B attack aircraft remain in hands of Taliban.”

The BBC report here that Taliban fighters recently captured Mazar-e-Sharif, the last major city in northern Afghanistan which was still under government control.

“The fall of the traditional anti-Taliban bastion marked a major gain for the militants, who have been advancing at speed as US-led forces withdraw.President Ashraf Ghani travelled to the city just days ago to rally troops. The Taliban are now in control of much of the country and are edging closer to the capital Kabul.

More than a quarter of a million people have been displaced by the violence, and many have headed to Kabul in hopes of finding safety. Women in areas captured by the Taliban have described being forced to wear burkas and the militants are also reported to have beaten and lashed people for breaking social rules.”

Countries are scrambling to evacuate their citizens, including the UK.

Maybe if we get more trannies in the military Afghanistan will be saved!

Makes me wonder what empire is going in Afghanistan next. China is buddying up with the Taliban for resources and the Taliban currently has no desire to attack them over the Uyghur issue, but who knows how that will turn out.

> Highest and rapid inflation in decades
> Economic collapse
> Southern Border falling apart
> Millions face eviction
> Worst foreign policy/military humiliation in US history.
> Begging OPEC to make more oil while restricting domestic production
> Woke/CRT shit take over the military and other federal institutions
> China and Russia embolden by this Administration's level of incompetency and retardation. (I fully expect further aggression from China on Taiwan in the near future)

No more mean tweets at least.

Calm the fuck down tardarios, lol. This is the Soviet pull out all over again, just sped up. Shit, this is the 2002 invasion all over again. The warlords and elders are surrendering because no world power (except china) will enact the ethnic cleansing required to change Afghan culture but the Taliban sure as shit will.
I am uncertain if the current crop of Talibans will be dumb enough to do anything. I think the current sentiment is just to expel them.

tl;dr If the US occupation has done anything, it is removing the dumbest of the dumb from the Taliban leadership. The Al Queda faction has been decapitated*, for the moment. The guys in charge understand the power of diplomacy, and they have what they want: everyone out of Afganistan so they can move the country back to the glorious time of 800ad.
This does not prelude complete tards on the ground doing shit on their own initiative, and this doesn't prelude the "government forces" from doing something incredibly dumb.

*(whoever talked about the Letter of Marque earlier is correct; you just had to incentivize enough Taliban commanders and they'd have turned over Bin Laden; the Taliban wanted the US to stop their support of the Northern Alliance. US instead decided to leverage contacts with those warlords)

Lmao they are already flipping.

Nigga they were already flipped. They never really changed sides to BE flipped. Now they don't have to pretend because there are no watchers.

I would never guess that the hyper masculine testosterone fueled Bush era would lead to this shit 20 years later.

Marines were always gay. Everyone knew it. They just don't have to pretend anymore.
Also the Chairforce with their un-ironed flag and the unit's one cute LUEOS. lol.

I guess Posobiec was right. You literally have west wing larpers and retard millennials that think real life is a Netflix special running the White house and IC. This country is ripe for conquest not only from within but from an outside force.

EDIT: I forgot to include Diversity hires, troons and other degenerates running the DOD and State Department.

What a fucking disaster. Twenty years in that wasteland and God knows how many Americans dead and billions wasted for their government to fall this fast. They deserve it honestly, you had two decades to build up for this and you somehow made it look like your government never existed on it's own in the first place.
We lost 2400 American soldiers in Afghanistan, that’s 5 years worth of military suicides. The experience of living in Afghanistan was a lot more dangerous than the Taliban ever were. It’s just a shame how profoundly incompetent the process of getting out has been.
