Taliban offensive of 2021 and collapse of Afghan government.

Hey Joe, tell the glowies to get off 4chan and start doing some actual work, maybe you wouldn't have your ass beat by the dune coons like this.

Those 5000 troops wont do shit now but get trapped there. To late.
According to that AP label this is a provincial capital near Kabul, not actually Kabul. Still a great shot though, can't wait for the real thing tomorrow.
The US military has basically purged itself of the kind of men that can win them wars. They attracting cannon fodder and concerned with trannies and gay shit.
This is ongoing for 20 years like how Bush and his gang of neocons ensured that all the important posts and jobs in the occupation went to a bunch of suck-up officers and political consultants who didn't have a clue on what they were doing and were often egoistical assholes. This goes straight to the top, like Henry Kissinger's associate Paul Bremer who Bush and Rumsfeld appointed as supreme leader of the Iraqi occupation. His staff hired people by asking them shit like "did you vote for Bush" and "do you oppose abortion" because they only wanted Bush loyalists.

No surprise that in the years after Bush, instead of being asked about abortion it's now about feminism, fags, and troons. And like always, this ideological bullshit produces a fucked up occupation and gets people to hate your guts to the point they welcome in batshit medieval warlords like the Taliban as a liberating army. All the US military is good for now is deploying overwhelming force on mostly defenseless towelheads. Like no matter how many adjustments you make for our equipment or any of that shit, I guarantee it takes the United States far more time and money to a kill a single sandnigger than it does the Russians or Chinese.

One kilometer away from the government centre.

I never thought I would spectate such a government failure... in real time, no less.

The Taliban have entered the Afghan capital Kabul from all sides, the Afghan interior ministry said on Sunday.

Sirens could be heard along with sporadic gunfire. Multiple helicopters were flying above the city centre and were dropping flares, Al Jazeera’s Charlotte Bellis reported from Kabul.
Panicked workers fled government offices. Thousands of civilians now live in parks and open spaces in Kabul itself, fearing the future.

After its lightning advance on the capital, the armed group ordered its fighters to refrain violence, allow safe passage to anyone seeking to leave and request women to head to protected areas, said a Taliban leader in Doha.

It's a shame the AP isn't publicly crediting the photographer, he might have more war photography and filmography in his portfolio for all we know.
The name of the photographer is Rahmat Gul.

Yeah twitter was actually pretty fuckin' based for most of the day, and then I guess they got their orders because suddenly the only thing you could see was a bunch of blue check shills with mental-wheels-a-spinning working out how this is somehow Trump's fault
View attachment 2447845

On the other hand, seeing such a huge number of organic comments being dismissive and celebratory was rather whitepilling.

I see this being something people will just accept as an ideological fact it is all Trumps fault. No matter of convincing them Biden has blame will do.

As best as I can figure. Biden and Trump both agreed the US needed to get out of there. No length of time beyond forever would stop the country from returning to the Taliban.

In dealing with the Taliban and groups of Taliban. Trump set upon an agreed-upon exit date. Biden pushed it back with out coming to a new agreed upon date. The Taliban abided by this agreement. The date passed and the Taliban started taking back the country. The Biden admin did little to nothing to prevent this embarrassing situation where the Taliban rapidly took back the country. While assuring the US public it wasn't happening to the extent and success it was.

Now they're fleeing in an embarrassing display as the Taliban is surrounding Kabul and it's a mad rush. That is all on Biden and a massive cock-up.

If Trump was so wrong, why didn't Biden take action, why was he telling everyone this scenario wouldn't happen? That's all on his watch.

Biden doesn't own the Taliban taking back the country. Neither does Trump. Collectively the Bush and Obama administrations are responsible. Bush's and Cheney's failures are well known. It was certified a lost cause when they went to Iraq. Obama kept it going.

We know from the Afghanistan Papers it was well established to be a lost cause behind the scenes. Yet they stayed. Trump initiated getting out.

Had a plan that if followed would have avoided this embarrassment.

We'd be in, "yes the Taliban is regaining power after the US left."

As opposed to the optics of, "The US is fleeing as the Taliban overruns the country."

Is this basically correct?

RT had a live stream going on facebook of the Embassy with the helicopters flying in and out. They got a text message and panned away and cut the stream. I am guessing they got told to kill it.
Its 2 hours of HD, to much for my potato-net to archive

I've been dropping by some of Big Media sites and they are still somewhat keeping a lid on the story in favor of domestic nonsense although its slowly trickling out. It must be taking them some time to figure out what the party line narrative is going to be and how to blame this on trump.

The local military industrial complex and political think-tank mouthpieces are noticeably silent. To be fair, it is the weekend, so they might just be out until tomorrow.

Also wow, both Cessnas disappeared from flightradar, they really glow.
One of the cessnas was heading almost directly north with a heading of 2 degrees.
