Taliban offensive of 2021 and collapse of Afghan government.

...all after axing a oil pipeline project because OIL BAD! ELECTRIC GUUD! Damn didn't that place we just left have a lot of Lithium?

They want to be a legitimate state and fuck little boys in peace. At best they'll waddle into Pakistan to start shit.
Wasn't there also a gay sobstory involving Native Americans getting pissy about their ethnostates being violated?

I believe so. Apparently Afghanistan region has lot of rare earth metals that haven't been mined yet. China alliance with Taliban leading to future joint mining ops for the Chinese EV market?

Highly doubt so while the Taliban is gonna Taliban all over the country im sure even they understand the whole reason this got started was because America got pissed off and now that they left and are back in control the last thing they want is give America a reason to come back.
Not saying they gonna stop hating america or that they won't be terrorizing anymore but its definitely going to be focused on their direct neighbors now rather than trying to pick another 20 year fight with Big Nukes when they just literally got the country handed over in a silver plate
Biden just acted like such a weak ass bitch Islamic jihadists who get to chill in Afghanistan are gonna try something. And its gonna be a hell of a lot easier with the border being nice and open.

Well lets look at what else is going on in addition to a humiliating military and diplomatic disaster...
  • COVID shit still going on
  • State inforced vaccines and passports on the horizon
  • Increasing hostility to anyone who doesn't hold cool wine aunt views,
    • downright barring people from elite positions INCLUDING MILITARY
  • Ever mounting hypocrisy, hostility, and arrogance from elite class while actual competence is declining at rapid rate
  • Mass evictions any day now
  • Inflation incoming
  • High food prices
  • Higher rent and property tax
  • Economy still in shambles
There has to be someone in government that realizes they need to pull themselves out of this tailspin.
Nope. They're high on their own supply and refuse to acknowledge reality. Because that would mean facing some hard truths about themselves and the world. And that can never happen.

You can also add, "high gas prices" and "dependency on foreign oil."
Meanwhile, we have our own supply ready and willing to be used. But can't use because "Muh Enviorment" and the desire to transform every car into a EHV

Orange man was planning on redirecting it so it wouldn't cross into their turf. Then there was concern it would pass through a river.

I'm all for getting off the petro, but these high gas prices are going to hurt lower income Americans the most.

Assuming Japan re-militarizes, what anime girl do you think they paint on their first aircraft carrier?
I'm thinking they go full circle with Auska. An anime character with the middle name Soryu who's dad is a German admiral has to be a reference to the Japanese WWII aircraft carrier.

The Taliban, like all governments, has a history of flipflopping on its drug policy. Yes, the Taliban has, at times, taken a page from the CIA, and tolerated, even profited, from Afghanistan's heroin trade (journos have been acussing them of doing this for the last several years, for example).

However, one of the proximate causes of the Afghan Invasion was the Taliban narcotics crackdown of 2000, aka The Day of The Torch, which led to "a 99% reduction in the area of opium poppy farming in Taliban-controlled areas". (Farrel, Thorne) By sheer coincidence, after the US invasion, the opium poppy farms got back up and running.

Here's a graph showing Afghan poppy cultivation, in hectares, year by year:

That dip between 2000 and 2001 was due to the Taliban enforcing its trad Muslim, no-tolerance drug policy. That massive rise from 2003 onwards, had absolutely nothing to with US foreign intelligence services having free reign over the country, and is probably just some unexplainable, freak data anomaly.

Actually there's a slightly more interesting story here. So around the year 2000, the Opium market was completely saturated. The Taliban were growing such an ungodly amount of poppies they were driving the price of them into the ground. Imagery of Afghanistan from this era is amazing; it's just poppies from one horizon to the other, literally trillions of flowers all growing together at once. They were harvesting bumper crops.

Funny though is that the base ingredients of Opium keeps very well. So what the Taliban did (a very Capitalist move, might I add) was suddenly decide to stop the supply entirely, after harvesting one of these legendary crops. Over the next few years the price of Opium went through the roof, while the Taliban just sat on their stockpiles. Then at the height of demand, they opened up their reserves and let the spice flow again. They made billions off of this move, and I wouldn't be surprised if this money was the reason they were able to make such a massive comeback.

There was this video floating around of Afghan soldiers that couldn't even do jumping jacks. Is that true?

I know Russia isn't perfect but they've been a force for good in the world recently. They've been on the right side of the Syria conflict since day 1 and are primarily responsible for liberating millions of innocent Muslims from the tyrannical rule of ISIS. This is probably why our Lugenpresse spends most of their time inventing conspiracy theories about our Russian comrades.
It's so fucking odd.

You have the press and the American people bitching about Russia and treating them like enemies and they have not affect my life or the lives of others in America.

Yet the Chinese release a virus that has been detrimental to the world economies and is making economic deals with the Taliban now, and people just want to jerk them off.

Fun fact, for those that are unaware like I was up until 10 minutes ago:

Jimmy Carter, who people keep comparing Biden to, is still alive at 96 years old. He attended Trump's inauguration in 2017.

And this man is probably more capable of leading the nation.
Carter is the reason China is in it'scurrent position and sold out Taiwan who previously had a relationship to the US comparable to Japan or ROK. Fuck Carter.

That's because the powers that be don't have billions if not trillions of dollars invested in Russia.

Well. Being serious now. You gotta put some thought into killing.
I tend to err on the side of letting them live.
