you're right, the red army itself didn't enter yugoslavia, i got that mixed up. it was the bulgarian army, after bulgaria had been invaded by the red army and subsequently switched sides in the war, which invaded yugoslavia to bring about communist partisan victory over the croat ustase and serb chetniks
