They're still playing indie games with shitty controls? Holy shit Surgeon Simulator was almost a decade ago, guys. Get over it.
Are they still milking Minecraft, or Ryan "leaving" was the final nail in the coffin?

On another note, I find it amusing that Lawrence's stream is so off-putting compared to his "Funhaus persona".

Still milking. They've made a new MC world that all the RT teams are taking apart in as well. RT Animation, STF, and FH all share the world with them and they're apparently gonna have crossover events that will most assuredly be torture to watch.

Watching their new Minecraft is entirely impossible though, Diversity Hire #2 is in every single fucking episode and she is incapable of closing her mouth for more than 20 consecutive seconds.

Holy fuck, Funhaus as well? Yikes. Really makes you think how low they are reaching for views, since they're bleeding out.

I checked some parts of one of their new videos and the only good thing I can say about Ky is her Neyla skin from Sly Cooper 2. Beside that she's insufferable.

I'm gonna call it: RT will die by 2024-2025, and that's still somewhat optimistic. FH by end of next year, hopefully. A husk of what it used to be, LGBTQ+ token hirings and whatnot.

If there's anything in Rooster Teeth still profitable it's probably going to end up gutted and sold but with how many new YouTubers and Twitch streamers have popped up and are making more money individually than the whole of like, Achievement Hunter and Funhaus combined I can't imagine that most of the company is going to survive as-is for a lot longer

Joel Rubin (formerly of funhaus) and his wife are having twins. Congrats!

Reading the comments in this thread railing against RT and listing all their fuckups is really damning on just how far gone the old RT is. Honestly, I could probably forgive the minor mistakes to the horrible sins done by people in the company if the content was even remotely as good as it was 6 to 10 years ago.

That's not what is going on though. The videos are continually watered down with diversity hires who are not remotely funny. The lack of care they have for their older audience who got them where they are. The way they continue to hammer the point in that they are "woke" and appeal to the zoomer/gay/tranny/blm demographic. It's honestly why I hope the entire company just crashes and burns. I know it'll put alot of people out of work. To which I say good, they fucking deserve it.

Yes it is. From Volume 5.
As someone who's never watched that show it's mystifying to me how it's possible for it to look so bad (even in thumbnails and GIFs) when it's supposedly the last thing keeping the company afloat and said company is under the same parent as fucking Cartoon Network. You'd think it was some hobbyist animators and not a company with $50 mil in annual revenue.

Please God, I don't ask for much, but let RT take the fattest of L's with this business stuff.

I wanna see them lose the RWBY IP. Please.
Why does Warner Bros. even need this bloated husk of a company for it when they have Cartoon Network? They probably have a million competent animation teams who can do exactly the same job but more competently.

I don’t know, but all I hope is that if someone else takes RWBY. It comes with a reboot preceded by a time consuming pre production. RWBY needs it.

I watched the first season with the Japanese dub and English subtitles and that's the only thing that made it bearable to me. Monty was really good at fluid-motion animation and that's about it. It was pretty to look at the fight scenes.

I mean, fight scenes and Monty doing them was what the show sold itself on.
