Well, it's a bad thing that Chia is passively suicidal. Anything that regains their lost 'glory' is worth doing, no cost too high.
Their ability to make good on it is a... secondary concern. They won't do something obviously suicidal, but with America showing weakness something "Stupidly risky but with a technical chance of success" might be up their alley.
I still think they are going to wait, just ratchet up the tension a bit to see how far they can go with the current administration, and then waiting to see who remains in power.

Rifles, uniforms, radios, body armor and other kit is not infinite and china is not immune to the morale collapse that would come from a opposed landing. thousands dying each hour would not go over well. alot of china is middle class now and does not want to give that way of life up because they have true poverty in living memory. upsetting the status quo is not a good idea for the CCP. as it has been said before in this thread. Both China and the West would be destroyed economically in a shooting war. The west would recover China would not.

As to the usefulness, don't underestimate that kinda shit. Remember that the entire world watched the luftwaffe being rebuilt right under its noses before the planes were even on the manufacturing lines. The Germans weren't allowed to have an airforce, so what they did was launch a civilian glider corps to keep trained pilots in reserves. It's hard to tell what the bugs are planning but my money says it's not good for anyone.

I feel like every month there is a new policy from a blue state that basically says illegal aliens have more rights than actual US citizens.
It was like a year ago, but remember when San Diego schools reopened to in-person learning, but ONLY to illegal aliens? Yes, actual tax paying US citizens could NOT go to school in person in San Diego, but illegal aliens could "because they are the most vulnerable."
