Chris isn't a normal person, if he was and he reacted to things in the way a normal person would then he wouldn't be the Chris chan we all know. Your point about his life being like the Truman show is pretty accurate but there are some pretty big differences. The producers of the Truman show provided Truman with a idyllic life, he had a loving wife, many friends, a nice home and a good job. The world he lived in was free of crime and everything was perfect. The producers of the Chris show have embarrassed and humiliated him, they have stole his money, mocked him and harassed him and finally they have agreed with every delusion and allowed him go further down the rabbit hole.

Every kindness and moment of genuine concern or advice given to Chris has been overshadowed by the massive piles of shit that others have thrown at him.
