Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I have no sympathy for them. They are the architects of this national and international humiliation. They deserve to be humiliated even more.

Go full struggle session. Put each of them individually on livestream, then put a dunce cap on them and force them to say to the world:

"I, (name), am an abject and utter failure to the United States of America and her people. I deserve nothing but a lifetime of shame and ostracization. I am an incompetent, profligate hack. I suck balls."

'We werent really happy not getting attention so we've decided to demand your attention like the faggots we are.'

Imagine being adopted by this.

Pete Buttplug can go jump off a fucking bridge. He's useless just like the rest of his peers. If any of these fucking shitbirds disappeared without a trace tomorrow nothing in this world would change.

So, you have the pieces. Where do your conclusions lead you?
Well, I don't want to disappoint you. But by this point I've had like, a ton of drinks. So... you know. Probably not a worthwhile answer.

I think we're okay (we being the USA) for our lifetimes. If that changes, it will be changing for a lot of people less-capable of us than dealing with the fallout (lol literally). But yeah. Totally smashed right now. Make out with you sister. I'll catch you tomorrow, bro. :lit:

The final vote total looks like 50% R - 47% D, so it was a pretty solid R win in a gay blue place.

I was a Bernie backer in the very beginning because ~~~idealism~~~ until I got disillusioned by the entire left jackassery, only ended up supporting Trump to spite Clinton and the democrats but after how good it was under his presidency and the shitshow we got now, I'm 100% in his camp should he run.
Same here. I felt the same for Hillary Clinton for "slightly different reasons," let's just leave it at that. Having faith in the federal government in its current state is a fairy tale. The whole system needs to be dismantled inside and out before actual change could happen.

You're kidding right? Anyone who crosses Trump has their career/life blow up within a year. He's like a dark wizard with INT as a dump stat.
I honestly think the big man upstairs likes him. Behind all the bluster he seems like a decent fellow.
You have no idea how right you are, in fact, it's worse than I think most people realize. I've avoided commenting on it because I needed to see how it played out, but let me explain something I realized a couple of months back and is what got me started on my kick about Political Capital.

Pulling out on 9/11 would have been the mother of all Political Capital tsunamis. The sheer optics of it, on the twentieth anniversary, pulling out and saying its done, leaving a nominally 'stable' Afghanistan. Yah it'd fall in a few months, but that is soo far away it COULD be successfully memory-holed. The sheer -amount- of Capital it would generate would be huge, more so than even a successful election. Enough to pass any bills the administration wanted.

And so they borrowed against it.

Relying on that capital to come, they pushed for lockdowns, vaccine mandates, set up what they needed for election reform, pressed for filibuster reform, floated the idea of stacking the court. Even as crises began to mount they borrowed more from it, trusting it'd come so they delayed action on Immigration, Inflation, the New Housing Crisis.

This is why Biden's handlers were daring SCOTUS. They know it will fail, but one month was all they needed. One month, and everything could be solved. One. Month. and the paycheck would be in.
.... Im frankly stunned at how well this fits. They always seemed way too confident at the time and I always wondered why.

Regardless of the likelihood of such a thing, would you say this has lessened the chances of civil war? It's been a surprisingly unifying issue lately to shit on biden.

State-level, and I presume it's a special election.
Which means not necessarily representative of large trends.

Depends on the outcome, but don't ask me for my thoughts there. We are in entirely uncharted waters here, and while I have the major players nailed down as a group the results will come down to individuals.

If a lot of heads roll, it might prevent civil war. This definitely takes the wind out of their sales to push the voting law through. 2022 is going to be a bloodbath regardless, and that'd seal no civil war.

This. All those nice ships, tanks, planes, and choreographed marching troops/sailors mean nothing. NO real combat experience earlier than 1979. NO experience in fielding carrier task groups. And let's not forget the PLA is involved in a certain number of business ventures, least within China. That's why I maintain for all the problems in the US military, largely of their and civilian politicians' making, Russia and China are more screwed up than we are.

Can you imagine a Chinese aircraft carrier sinking beneath the waves thanks to a US sub? Can you imagine a Chinese invasion force getting wrecked on the way to Taiwan? I sure can. Can you imagine how that would look to the world? I sure can - China talked big, got dicks knocked in the dirt.

And one more observation. Do you know of ANY other country that could start landing significant numbers of transports in Kabul within 24 hours of a requirement being issued? I sure can't. The US has a power projection capability second to none. China sure couldn't get waves of transports into Kabul, neither could Russia. The Brits may be able to get a couple in, maybe a few from Europe. No "may" about it for the USAF - land the plane, load it, get the fuck out. Rinse (definitely!) and repeat as needed until the job is done or the civilians in Washington say to stop.
So, all my posts before. I do agree.

My primary point was that now, more than any would be the time for the Chinese to start doing some drills that maybe they have not been doing in years past. Will that happen? How the hell do I know? If I were in charge they'd be doing them right now while burning effigies of Kiwi Farms A&H posters for being so right ahead of the curve. (come on babes, I know how to jerk you off) But in reality they should only just be scrambling to get those things started, given the realistic fashion in which life works. They may only literally be figuring it out today... which still isn't bad. But the US Military Apparatus is till laughing at you if that is the case.

Did I mention in my last post (look it up) how drunk I am? Dude I took a drink and coughed (FUCK!!!!) and it went down my throat and now I hurt. It was over 100 proof. It hurt. Please help me, Kiwis. Send me a Sheila. She's so titties hot.

boom fuck you null.gif
