Taliban offensive of 2021 and collapse of Afghan government.

But why did the Biden administration drag their feet way past the May 1st deadline?
It surely hasn't worked out well for them politically, seeing how the world is mocking them and even their lapdog media is starting to low-key criticize them over this.

Here are some theories that I've seen on social media or come up with myself:
  • Theory 1: TDS. Leaving by May 1st was Trump's plan, so they just had to miss that deadline out of spite.

  • Theory 2: Forever war aspirations. They were biding their time and hoping that their glowniggers could pull off some fuckery that would make it politically viable to cancel the troop evacuation and stay in Afghanistan for another 20 years. But somehow that failed.

  • Theory 3: Incompetence. They failed to listen to the people in the military who could have told them that the Afghan government & army was a joke, and thus really got caught by surprise by the Taliban's fast takeover.

  • Theory 4: Vanity. Biden wanted the conclusion of the evacuation to coincide with the anniversary of 9/11 so that he could hold a schmaltzy speech along the lines of "Bush started this; I ended it!" and be celebrated by his lapdog media as the second-greatest president ever (after Black Jesus).
What do you think?
1, 3, and 4. Optics. This was a stupid attempt at that 20 years on 9/11 anniversary optics.
Also fuck Trump and they dumb.

Austrian interior minister Nehammer had an argument with a female journalist from the tax-funded german station ZDF.
She didn't just want us to stop all deportations of Afghans, even to other EU countries, she actually wanted to state, as a "personal opinion", that Europe should take in ALL Afghan women. All 21 million or so. And that this would be an important step for human rights.

This actually happened.

I take 5, all of the above

When is it ever not that? Literally any outcome is a justification for invading any given unrelated country next, somehow.
Trump shit, incompetence, vanity: all smokescreens for doing whatever the fuck they wanted anyway. A president is a shit-puppet to fling shit at. If they're popular, that's a justification to do whatever. If they're "incompetent" then whoops, I guess we're doing whatever accidentally!

At some point there'll be too much shit in the gears and everything will collapse but up to that point it's lubricant.

Sigma males like the Taliban don't need no stinkin' gainz.
Omg that is hilarious. They are literally the grug meme.

You'd have had to have signals transmitted from up near the moon itself so that they could be picked up as expected by monitoring bases around the world including Australia.
I used to agree with this logic until I visited that telescope in Australia (which btw has a lot of secretive US signals bases iirc). The place has a weird vibe and all the towns surrounding it are covered with Mason shit. Even one remote-ass place that's just a bunch of dirt, like a hundred people, and one road with nothing but a pub and a Mason lodge.

I don't read too much into it necessarily but it did creep me the fuck out.

If he had been captured during the Bush years, given all the political pressure Bush was feeling, I can't imagine why he would keep that secret.
I already answered this in my post - in the minds of the American public, the hunt for OBL was a big part of the reason why the US was in Afghanistan. It's a stupid reason if you think about it at all logically, but it was still an effective PR weapon. Once found, people ask "then why are we still dying in Afghanistan".
If he had been captured earlier in the Obama years, why would Obama sit on it?
As above, plus wait for a moment when it's politically useful to play your ace in the hole.

Thing is, unlike the Moon Landing, it really is as simple as I say to fake OBL's death. You can't say: "show us the lack of body" to disprove the negative. And there's political gains to be had. Means, motive and opportunity are all in abundance. The Moon Landing hoax idea has only motive and is generally believed by people who wildly over-estimate the competence and abilities of the US govt.

Who set up the people living in Obama's compound in Pakistan? (I assume they didn't know they were being set up as targets for Obama's hit squad?)

Was leaving the stealth helicopter part of the plan?

Interesting. But, I did see a film about it with Sam Neil and Sam Neil is too nice to ever mislead me.

I was talking to someone today about this, and they were flummoxed at "what did they think would happen?"

The best I could think of was that they simply probably don't know it's a bad idea. They probably lack a basic foundation of knowledge and experience to know sitting on the side of a plane isn't like sitting in the flatbed of a truck.

If someone from the 8th century did it, you'd understand them not knowing better. That's the way you sometimes need to understand people in different parts of the world or underdeveloped communities where you may live. There's just so much knowledge about the modern world and the ways of doing things we take for granted.
The part that really got me was that they weren't even sitting on a stable part of the plane, they were sitting on the landing gear door. The thing that immediately flips upside down once the gear is raised. The whole mass of them should have fallen off in one go and I don't know why we only see video of a few falling off.

sounds like a pretty good argument for the taliban being right about women tbh

The fact that movie exists is also an element of my degree of skeeve on the subject lol. "It was manned by like 3 guys without proper oversight but they were just lovable larrakins, don't think about it".

I mean I don't wanna overstate my moon suspicions but at the very least I rule Australia's cooperation out as a point against my standard distrust of the American devils.

a few prob bailed as the plane was beginning to taxi and pick up speed, except for the die hard few that somehow felt it was a simple as sitting on a train like all these cameltards do in their shit hole sandpits

When you say "she" do you mean the interior minister wanted to take in all Afghan women or the journalist did?

Also, can you imagine it if countries preferentially let in women and children rather than men as refugees?
