Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I mean we had that one town in Texas that is 85% Hispanic and usually goes blue voting in a Republican Hispanic as mayor and now that Connecticut state senate seat. I don't wat to say it's a trend. Hence why I'm waiting for the governor recall election in California. If Newsom does get recall than I will say it's a trend.

1) Said deal actually had a shitload of caveats, including negotiating with the government in Kabul to form a unity government, complete with Trumpian Diplomacy threat of "If not, I'll be back in force to fuck you up again."

2) Biden knew about said deal, and pulled the rug totally pretending US presence wasn't intel gathering, training and support because he thinks its 2012, not 2021 and the US has tens of thousands of troops doing actual fighting.

3) Has told the 82nd Airbourne to not help anyone, and even had Bagram airbase abandoned so quickly without telling anyone that the ANA didn't have a fucking clue it'd been abandoned before the Taliban posted on twitter about all their shiny new guns, drones and helicopters.

I’m too young to remember Nixon, but in my 40 years on this planet I can’t recall a bigger fuck up or a time when the president was more embattled.

Bush took a lot of shit for Iraq and he deserved it. He had Katrina too.

Right now Joe Biden has 10-20,000 American citizens stuck behind enemy lines. That doesn’t count those who helped us. This isn’t mismanaging a natural disaster, this is a flagrant fuckup that he can’t even go on stage and answer questions from the press about.

I can’t think of a foreign policy failure that’s of the same magnitude to compare this too. Maybe The Bay of Pigs (but even then we didn’t have the sheer number of American Citizens in harms way).

If he survives this (and I think he might, if only because I think Kamala doesn’t want to take the reigns and try to right this ship) his entire agenda is crippled from here on out. His own party is calling for hearings (I’m assuming they have their own poll data that shows how bad this is).

The myth that he’s some elder statesman with a steady hand on the wheel is gone. The myth that he’s mentally competent is blown out of the water too (why the hell isn’t he taking questions). The whole world is watching this mess and realizing exactly who we have at the helm. There’s no second term for him at this point. Hell, if this gets worse (and I suspect it will while praying it doesn’t), he might not finish out the first term.

It would have to be damming blackmail. She's not going of her own volition if she can help it. Not without taking someone else with her. I figure anything they do to take her out is going to reflect poorly on themselves, especially if word gets out that they had a EXTREMELY valid reason to take her down and never used it before now.

She is a bitch, but I almost admire how much she doesn't want to be someone else's bitch. She will not be controlled.
