Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The only thing that surprises me about this entire situation is how soon it happened.

Everyone who was paying any attention knows Biden isn't mentally well and incredibly corrupt and incompetent. Something that was undeniably a terrible decision was gonna happen eventually.

Year 1 is impressively bad though.

"womens rights and freedoms" is the same as Total Recall's "Two weeks" at this point; they know they need to say something else, but they can't.

Biden could come out of this looking pretty good, all he has to do is apologise. Admit he made a mistake, admit he made the wrong choice, for the wrong reasons and that it was an incorrect call that he made. Let the MSM spin it as most truthful honest president evahhh and this will be out of the headlines by next week

I think its too late for that. The wider, media consuming audience has already had that well tainted with the blame shifting and finger pointing. Its not that he can't take responsibility for it, but that they either bought it and want blood from those pointed upon, or didn't buy it and won't buy a sudden apology shift. Bidens window to try and apologize has passed.

Signs point to no. But I like surprises, and this is more personal than the constant exposes on government corruption and incompetence.

For example, I can count 2 friends I've lost contact with in Afghanistan, and one's an American.
