Federal mask mandates lol nice try. That power is left to the states under the 10th Amendment. Though it's 50-50 at best the Supreme Court actually follows the law. Even so, it won't make people wear masks.

You know that Supreme Court case from 1905 that idiots say means the government can mandate vaccines and God knows what else for muh health?
The punishment at issue in the case was a NOMINAL FINE. The Court said the government can issue you a 5 dollar fine if you refuse to get a vaccine. Not cut you off from society. Oh and that case involved a state government. Not the federal government.

This is the most amazing thing about this year so far, you're literally watching the Trump Curse reach a new level.
All they had to do was give Trump his rightfully won election, along with an extra GOP senator or two (everyone forgets Michigan would have a black R senator), and he would be dealing with some inflationary issues and also they could ramp up even more panic porn about the Chyna virus. It would have damaged the republicans far more over the next four years even as they lied, and could have possibly retaken some state governments.
But they were so greedy, so desperate, they cheated and all these knock down effects are happening to where it's going to strengthen MAGAs in the future and irony of all, Trump getting in again will probably do another two SCOTUS seats and make up for the failures of listening to McConnell.
At this point I am expecting a whistleblower to come out and say 1/6 was an inside job. It won't get major traction but it will be another confirmation of all the shit they had to throw to get Trump out.
