This has been the case since Trump won the election, just in my opinion. None of the social media people cared about any of the content on their sites until after Trump won the election. Then they specifically started going after people who may have convinced viewers that liberalism and democrats were retarded. Not necessarily that Trump was a force for good, just that lefty stuff isn't good.

I remember going to forums since I was a teenager and getting probation or banned because I disagreed with something a mod thought was correct. It was some real Neogaf shit. That's pretty much what jannies on Facebook and Twitter do nowadays, they don't like you so they get rid of you, all while thinking they're some sort of moral crusader. Also, the procedure is for Trump to be appointed VP after the current speaker becomes POTUS, then the President steps down, giving his seat to Trump. That is the most “appropriate“ way. They could technically appoint Trump as Speaker, but that brings him too close to the root of the swamp.
