TBF with Italy they had a referendum in 46 on the monarchy and the majority voted No. As for the others, Serbia was still technically the Yugoslav government because of it's union with Montenegro, there was no plan with Libya other than funding random rebels because Nomad man bad, and Iraq was a British imposed monarchy from a foreign (In Arab terms) dynasty from Arabia. You could say that about Libya, Iraq, Serbia, fucking Germany and Italy 1945. . .
Why DOES The US have such an aversion to client kingdoms? They are always more effective than trying to subordinate a "democracy."
If it is any consolation there is some monarchist strength for deposed monarchies in a few of these countries. I think Serbia is is mildly popular, Montenegro gave some special titles to it's former dynasty, Georgia is lead by a monarchist apparently.
As for why the US has an autistic fetish for installing democracies wherever they can, it's easy to buy their governments out when there isn't a king even as a token authority who has to sign off on shit.
Not surprised the fighting within the administration is crippling it. What I'd give for serious leakers if only to see how quickly the media moves to shove them under the rug. Y'know, just like they did with Trump 'leaks'.I don't really pay much attention to the D.C. rumor mill but it would seem that there is a deep rift between the President and VP camp.![]()

Nobody has seen Kamala publicly for the better part of a week or two far as I can tell. Supposedly she is dealing with Haiti's earthquake and hurricane stuff.
Mike Pence reinforcing what I put in the op of the thread, Biden broke the deal by not leaving by May 1st.
