In terms of specific controversies, sure, but the over-arching theme of 'CAPITALISM BAD' is so utterly ingrained in their psyches at this point I'm surprised they can order their Starbucks every morning without the cognitive dissonance causing a singularity that crushes their skulls.

There is one audience type I hadn't considered though, which is the people who just want the dopamine hit of having all the opinions they already hold re-affirmed every week by someone they look up to.

And if there's one place you can be absolutely certain your champagne-Socialist, virtue-signalling shite is gonna get validated it's the Jimquisition.

I mean to really highlight the misery of Jim and troons. Its any sort of progress and camaraderie. Like, jesus, I hang out in a dank game store and the way Ive seen people go from mopey pieces of shit to happy broke members of society in there after a few months. Just because they made friends and they got better at literally anything. And you can contrast that to the smug shits who come in, act above everyone else, and then watch them get sadder and sadder because no one wants to play with them or talk to them and have all abandoned any hopes of helping them get better. Really reminds of some one. Or several people

Unsure about Jim's circle orbit of friends, but like everyone has pointed out before, it's clear from his videos he doesn't give a shit about vidya anymore but has reached a point in his life that he knows he's trapped and has to slowly turn his rusty and leaking oil tanker of a channel into another direction without tipping over completely.

His dream is to become an hbomberguy clone (sad in itself) and get those sweet sweet asspats with as minimal and unfocused work as possible. Trooning out was just part one of his catastrophic plan, designed and directed by his two fat hands.

We spend a lot of time focusing on Jim's sub count here --which we should, because it's hilarious-- but let's not forget how badly his views have also shit the bed:

As of this month it's officially been a year since his channel dropped under a minimum of 5 million views a month; an impressive viewcount you can see he handily maintained at least as far back as September 2018 where this graph starts, but I'd guess the trend probably goes back at least as far as his Digital Homicide lawsuit videos.

Starting from October 2020 he's only managed to summit 3M once, and now languishes at around 1.7M per month; a pathetic amount for a channel his size with regular weekly uploads.

My favourite part of this, though, is as mentioned his view count first really plummeted in October 2020, 3 months prior to Jim's coming out as a troon, which he credits as the reason his channel is seeing a mass exodus. Really percolates the pecans...

The hideous fucking thumbnails don't help. Non-subscribers see a fat, freakish crossdresser in their recommends (when they see it at all because the algorithm has also noticed that Jim's videos suck) and immediately know that person isn't listening to. And if they do click they instantly learn that the wig and lipstick is unironic and not for a gag in the video. I'm certain this is why Jim's been trying to make them look marginally more "business-like" by removing some of his fetish gear, which still fails because he's just that repulsive.

I also had this inkling when I noticed in the two semi-decent JQs he put up back-to-back a couple weeks ago he barely appeared in them and there were no shitty forced skits or wrestling trash.

Sadly my optimism was short-lived and he's now doubled down on being an obnoxious retard, so trick 'em all you want with the thumbs Jimmy; 30 seconds actually watching your videos and they're still gonna be dust in the wind.

Jim always struck me as almost entirely isolated. Last I knew he's in Pennsylvania with no local friends or family and I scarcely saw him associating with other internet personalities except that shrieking abomination LKD, all of which feels odd to me considering his name recognition and past influence. You'd think he'd be pretty well networked.
 
The reason I stopped paying any attention to Jim is because of how boring his show is. There isn't enough interesting video games related news for one man to do a weekly show on so every video ends up feeling like déjà vu. There is only so many times I can listen to company bad, person bad, game bad before I lose all interests in what you have to say.

It's got to the point where I feel like I already know Jim's opinion on something before it's even happened. I suppose it's good to be consistent but it's just boring at this point. He can't even get any one to come in with a fresh take or even a just a different one because any dissenting opinion's are bad and anyone who holds them is a evil sexist racist trans-phobe who wants poor devs to die and use their blood to grease the gears of Bobby Kotick personal torture machine.

Does anyone remember Let's Drown Out with Yahtzee and his aussie friend Gabe? That was a good show because both men had their own views and they weren't afraid to express them, even if it resulted in an argument. That's what Jim needs, someone who can present an opinion on something and stimulate a discussion that is a bit more nuanced than just "bad thing bad because I say so".

I know that the Jimquisition is just that, Jim's Inquisition and that's fine but if your show is dying like this then maybe it's time to try something new. Change the format, bring in guests or talk about something new.

Gabe kickstarted that series with Yahtzee partially so that Yahtzee would interact with another human being at least once a week, otherwise Yahtzee (he admitted) would only interact with the barista at the coffee shop and not say a single other word to a human in his daily life. I don't think Jim has a friend like that in his life.

Ashens appearing in that "special" made me lose a lot of respect for him. He is usually good about not getting involved in online drama.
