Someone I knew said that Trump was making the United state look bad, that we have to think about the collective good.

And said people I know still think that Trump getting reelected would "destroy this country"...

I wonder if at any point in his mind he came to the realization that all that social justice inclusion garbage in exchange for no longer training people into killers didn't add to jack shit during a crisis. I really hope the Poles, Ukranians, Koreans, Japanese ect are looking into nuclear weapons because the US will just flee after the first gunshot rings out.

Most of your brass is going to fuck things up with their egos. Everyone wants the glory, the glory they think the personally deserve. Look at Vietnam, commanders kept stepping on each others dicks too be the one to strike a particular target. In the Civil war, commanders that had bought their commission became useless in the heat of battle. Poor leadership is the death of morale and combat readiness.

The money was good, banged foreign chicks and saw the world on the taxpayers dime.

The problem with this line of thinking is that it logically leads to the idea that every kid from every bumfuck Third World shithole deserves a “fighting chance”, directly at the expense of American taxpayer. Which is of course completely unsustainable, and in practice simply tends to result in sacrificing our own children’s health and future for feel good points that don’t even make a practical long-term difference. I think some societies and peoples are simply not developmentally compatible with our civilization and it does not more good to pretend that they are than to stick a chimpanzee in a suit and try to make him an office worker. It sounds harsh, but the Afghans have to decide if they want to be anything different themselves. We can’t, and we shouldn’t try.
