A Trump Coup would not be a better place to be in at all. Even discounting all the whole violence and civil unrest part of a coup, your just trading one illegitimate, powerless president for another. There's no way the world as a whole would accept a Coup President, even if they find the evidence that says he definitively should have win. Its just too far a bridge to cross, to let it happen and pretend everythings fine. Even internally, you'd get fragmentation of states that acknowledge the new president and those who don't, so your coup inevitably turns into some level of civil war or conflict.

The problem is that the withdrawal on September 11th WAS the thing they were borrowing against. So once that fell, they went from "Payday Loan" to "Immediate Bankruptcy" basically overnight.

While you have a good point at this point the world would probably just accept it the same way they are accepting the Taliban. "Yeah, some shady shit went down internally but the last guy was a real douche nozzle."
Not that I believe a coup is imminent since that would be extraordinary. Rather more likely they passively aggressively cripple Biden's administration through leaks. Maybe about election fraud if we get real lucky.
I doubt Biden's administration will be so bold after this. Yes. Yes. "Double Down." But still, Biden basically went to Vegas with his last 1,000 dollars for what was supposed to be a rigged game and he got violently mugged and robbed by a bunch of homeless people before it could payoff.
