After this and the Snyder cut videos both being released 2-5 weeks after the respective movies being released, he's got zero damn excuses for why the TFA series is still unfinished almost three years after he started it, and it gets more embarrassing with each passing month and year. Especially since we're in a situation where post-Mandalorian, TFA is completely irrelevant to all of the SW projects in development, between Mando, Visions, the Kenobi and Ashoka series, and Rouge Squadron movie are either pre-sequel trilogy in continuity or seem to ignore the sequel trilogy.
Maybe MauLer doesn't care that much about the project, so it's hard for him to motivate himself to actually work on it and get it done. Maybe MauLer is just lazy and doesn't want to put that much work in most of the time opting instead to just fart around with his friends on a livestream once a week, until something comes around that he thinks he can bandwagon for (re: Snyder Cut).

Or maybe MauLer decided to make a 10+ hour series about how horribly terrible a movie has failed, when in reality the movie isn't even that bad so he's just grasping at fucking straws that even his super charged sperginess can't assist him with

What exactly is the problem with the Boys Season 2 ?
That season was awesome.
  1. Deep's storyline went nowhere after S1 hinted at his arc being (pardon the pun) deep.
  2. despite poking fun at female empowerment scenes ended up having a cringey female empowerment scene
  3. Lamplighter was pointlessly wasted as a character in my opinion
  4. A-Train's storyline didn't make any sense at all, from being outsmarted by Starlight and to his heart problem that just appears on and off whenever plot needs it
there were other things I had problems with that I'm forgetting now because it's been a year since I watched S2. S1 was great tho

I noticed this comment Mauler left under Rags' video earlier, pulling a Southpaw and lurking in the comment section.

"In the years to come" does this retard not realize people don't give a shit about TFA anymore? People don't want to wait years for feature length videos that could have been condensed into a single couple hour long one that should have been made years ago.

>Years to come
Imagine your biggest contribution in your life so far is an overdue, bloated analysis about a 6 year old Star Wars movie, it's a whole 'nother level of autistic vanity.

So a four hour rant is done in about two weeks but no SW video for like two years now.
Apparently he had Fringy and Meme Repository help with the editing:
Screenshot 2021-08-19 155240.png
Which just makes me wonder, why doesn't he get them two (and maybe DasBoSchitt) to help him bang out the editing on his TFA videos? He himself said it's just the editing that's left yet he can casually make a whole new script and finish a video in two weeks with help? He must be burnt out on working on the TFA videos at this point, because I don't see any other reason why he can't just finish his autistic magnum opus by now.

So lemme get this this straight: Mauler has time to make a 4 hour thing on Black Widow, but no time for
  • The Boys
  • Joker
  • Game of Thrones finale (altho tbf I guess there isn't much to say at this point, but I'm pretty sure he was still going to? might be wrong tho)
  • and TFA Part whateverthefuck
  • also, wasn't he going to cover Mandalorian as well? or was it just Rags who was gonna review it?
does he like... percieve time differently? I'm not even saying I'm super interested in seeing any of the ones I listed, it's just that if you're not gonna make those videos - just say you're not going to make them, why keep letting people on?

Well, hopefully at least the Black Widow video is good. There is no argument about whether that movie deserves dunking on, or not.

He's going through his own personal G.R.R Martin arc.

His TFA review is no longer relevant though his fans will shower him with superchats. He can't milk this like he could've before the release of TRoS. The best thing he's ever done was the first hour of the first part where he exposed the state of video essays and how ludicrous they generally are. If he continues this project. He has to shorten it and give it another spin. Every nitpick about the script gets old after 6 minutes. And as much as the EFAP crowd hates it. Mauler hasn't showed an apreciation of themes in fiction. Being mathematical about scripts isn't "objectivity".

Sitting comfortably doing EFAP proved much more profitable. At least he hasn't resorted to the moralfag grift like Ethan Klein. Or I may be mistaken since I didn't read the thread yet.

So I was skipping around the BW unbridled, and got to a part where Mauler laments that now MCU projects are more focused on setting up the next product rather than telling stories about characters, and earlier today I found a clip on twitter from the documentary "A Decade under the Influence" which is about the filmmaking of the 70's, in which Scorsese gives a quick comment praising Sam Rami's Spider-Man.
https://twitter.com/OmarOVO24/status/1427324068978647042
And as people in the thread are pointing out, his praise of Rami and insult of the MCU has to do with Rami making a movie with his creative spark to tell a story about characters that wasn't trying to push several other characters for movies and tv shows, as opposed to the MCU which even before 2019 people were making jokes about the MCU formula and how a lot of the later movies were low-key ads for future movies. I don't know if people have sent this to Mauler, but I feel like he would make some arbitrary reason as to why he's right and Scorsese is wrong, even though I feel like they are both more or less making the same criticism of the MCU.

Since Mauler hangs out in both camps, I figure I should post about this in here too.
Long story short, Jeff and Jessie showed up at Las Vegas during the Friday Night Thighs event and literally got told to "get the fuck out". More details in the latest High Council if you care to listen that long.
I don't know if Jessie is feigning ignorance for clout or if she is legitimate retarded but wew, lad.
So she crashes a FNT event and gets pissy she gets thrown out especially the drama she clung to with Mecha?
Look I’m not the biggest fan of Nerdrotic, but Jessi, cupcake….since this is a fan meet up there are plenty of people with cameras.
I’d like to see some evidence, sorry if your word isn’t good enough.

Oh yeah MCU the bastion of creative freedom.
Stuff like this is why taking Mauler seriously is impossible , the MCU has always been about pushing a product hell does he not know how many times the mcu has fired directors because they werent brand friendly?

That last comment’s a real gut buster.
“Cut MauLer and Rags some slack! It’s fine if they choose the laziest route possible!”
“Just take a week out of your life to listen to a bunch of jackasses whine for 168 hours about a Hollywood Megafranchise if you want to know what’s wrong with it!”

wow, weird, the year flew by in that sense because I still remember the 100 stream like it was yesterday.

Fringy told his hilarious Australia vs various animals' wars story, Tonald and Wolf section was legit very sweet and nice to listen to, I wonder if they will find a way to top it off (probably not tho)
