I honestly want him to keep going. It's not like we get anything relevant from Digi in-between his videos. He does very little aside from retweeting art. And if you want info you have to go to Billy's twitter, and who the fuck wants to do that.

Just the bridgeburner burning bridges. Nothing to see here. I'm glad Ben brought it up so many times; Digi wasn't releasing it anyway and this way backers/fans can get some form of closure.

Digi has long gone of the deep end. Or maybe he never really gave much of a fuck about most of the PCP, though I'd wager after watching this guy for years it did affect him. While there was a lot of mutual ass-kissing in the PCP, they all contributed at least slightly different views and walks of life. He traded that in for what he sees is unconditional acceptance. Stagnation follows soon, then regression.

A summary of the former PCP members (and why it fails seeing the missing members):

Nate: the backbone of the group, keeping things organized; needs someone to tell him what to do.
Jess: always just trying to see the fun in things, low tolerance for bullshit. Sometimes brilliant, sometimes cringe af.
Digi: Nasty, grimy, anime obsessed and confrontational. Talks too much. (he would take this as a compliment).
Ben: the alternative one, to a fault.
Munchy: loud teenager turned normie (with a furry GF). Actually smart.
Tom: actually has things he wants to achieve and is passionate about but has been hampered enough in his life due to physical ailments. Maybe that's why hes more accepting.
Hippo: (believe all women) negative spine. Like a flag, blows whichever direction the wind favors. Filler character.
Mage: token female, filler character. She never needed to be on, didn't bring anything to the table and when she did got told off.

So now the show is down to an alt to fault, someone accepting and a literal void of personalty. Not strange to see why the PCP is done. We could have had better times but people needed to take the crazy pill.

I find it fascinating how hard Ben has gone into this. I'm sure he knows it's hypocritical and petty on some level, but the rage can't be contained. I understand to an extent since the reason I hate Digi is because he's a baby man and takes shit for granted. I've been cheering the patreon dips and thinking how absurd it is that he can still be making $1000 a month putting out nothing.

If I were to guess, I think Ben has long hid a hatred/envy of Digi for making so much more money than him despite working a fraction as hard (in his mind). The Brony Lecture drama just opened the flood gates.

Probably because it has the same charm as Eva as in when you're younger you watch it for the main (teen) characters and watching it when older you can relate to the adults in the show.

J: Jojo. He doesn't hate JoJo but is famous for not having watched a lot of it. He pissed people off before by sarcastically saying the Part 5 trailer looked like shit.

K: K-on is gonna be fun if he does that because he LOVES that show, but also can't talk about it without mentioning he always compares his (now ex-PCP) friends with the characters.

I'm mostly impressed that Digi has done a thing three times in a row, and in a reasionsble amout of time.

Him deleting an entire lecture many were looking forward to watching for over a year and paid for, with him spitefully not giving a damn on Twitter yesterday, has put a dampener on his recent surge of productivity for me. He clearly no longer cares what his audience want and I truly don't care if his career never recovers to what it was even c. early 2020.

I would thought his No. 1 favourite 3-gatsu no Lion would make the list but it's not a mainstream anime nor can it fit in the alphabet with it's numerical title (unless "3" reads as "san") . I would have also put Steins;Gate, which is more mainstream and an example of an anime based on a VN perhaps surpassing its parent medium but I agree with Omnium Ultimatus that it will likely be Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, which was a huge hit with both Japanese and Western audiences.

Maybe it's the lighting, but he looks like he's finally started shaving that ever present 5 o' clock shadow. That's not to say it makes him look remotely like a woman though. If anything, he's begun to resemble a middle aged man.
