Oh my fuck. Shit like this is why I insist they more than rightfully earned the thread. The only thing that victory over Kevin Smith did was giving them leeway to become less subtle of what they ACTUALLY think. Like holy shit. Right from the get-go, this is not meant to be a direct adaptation. So even despite being on the aesthetics alone saying with neon letters. They still go out of their ways to gatekeep and create anger over something that doesn't even deserve it.

The fact they didn't take this as a sign of something being wrong with them speaks how petty and lack of self-awareness they have started to become. Shame. Then again, if they admitted they were wrong and decided to do better then this thread would die fast.

Being in the same age group as they are, I get watching things you love change for the worse.

I know they'd never be willing to believe this but I understand being annoyed. I thought the new She-Ra was being made for Tumblr and their children. This new He-Man cgi is obviously aimed at kids and not that She-Ra audience.


I'll get back to where I was going with this. I remember being disappointed as a kid because I felt Droids and Ewoks cartoons weren't as good as the Star Wars Trilogy.

At some point, The Marvel Secret Wars comics characters I grew up with changed. They have different outlooks on things now than they did then. Technology is different. Iron Man no longer has a suit made of Iron. DC did some good business by taking Hal, Ollie, and Barry away. They all came back and were bigger than ever. They did this after they killed Superman and broke Batman's back. Not all changes are bad.

How many great new characters can you think of off of the top of your head from the last five years? It isn't easy to just make the next big thing.

How many times did someone get race, sex, or sexual preference changed from their original character for a new adaptation?

Do you think this is because people are out of ideas and want to try "a fresh coat of paint" on something old or just to stick it to our childhoods and those Trumpers?

Of course, there's stuff that I like that's had reboots over the years. I still prefer Raimi's Spiderman trilogy over all the other movies. Also I don't mind if they change stuff up for franchises

We did not drag the kids into it. They freely share the information about the kids when they tag them in posts and use them in videos. This magazine post is available online. None of us are bad mouthing the kids. I hope they have a great life and grow up to be awesome people.
We document what is going on. None of us are going to bug the kids or get Auntie Clownfish fired for being related to them.

This thread exists because of all the hypocrisy and screeching.

They're going out of their way to have the kids push "online content creation" via letsplays. Most kids shouldn't be on social media period, let alone being oversharing content creators. I don't care that they're removed, but they shouldn't be surprised that their kids info is online when they're the ones putting it out there in the first place. It would be nice if Tom and Kambrea acknowledge the gesture given to their kids, but "muh stalkers" is the knee-jerk reaction every time. Oh man, I wondered when they' d end up here.
At first I watched few of their vids for some insight as insiders, but they quickly turned to cheap shots and drama for clicks.
They have tendency to predict doom of all the companies they shit on, including marvel comics was supposed to be dismantled by Disney few years back and comic production licences out, because Disney cuts costs... and 3 years later Clownfish is still full of shit.

And this is the level of their own art (my redline on the right, I tried, but there is no saving it without redrawing from scratch)- absolute shit. After seeing their own comics, I no longer wonder why they don't work anymore for any pro company. Or Disney.

My read on them in general is that they are insufferable, because they never grew up out of their teens mentally. They adult just fine, but the keep to how things used to be in their youth instead of embracing change and accepting that old he man was frankly shitty cartoon and new one was never aimed at old fans- who are currently in their late 30ties and should be way past religiously watching shows for kids. But this is whole fan drama curcle for you.
