Masks don't do shit but keeping people in self contained bubbles is a great way to retard our immune systems. Children in particular need to mix together, to pass on cold viruses and germs to each other. Our immune system is like a muscle, we need to use it or it will atrophy and become weak.

They also said that voting laws were Jim Crow, but New York City has locked 2/3rds of the black population and ALL of his immunocomprised population from indoor areas and demanded vaccine papers AND IDs every where. The messaging feels tailored to age-groups as well. People of a certain age will start yammering on about polio and how terrible that was until a successful vaccine was developed for it. Which, yes, it was terrible. It crippled people for life and had a horrendous mortality rate; about 1 in 10 would die from it, while the survivors were usually crippled and unable to breathe without mechanical assistance.
I wonder if this guy will make a fuss about trying to be classified as a "political prisoner", like trying to blow the whistle of the conditions of dissidents like 1/6, or do a IRA hunger strike.

i recall apartments in Hong Kong being blocked with bulldozers and shit..but no citywide shutdowns. They strictly did contact tracing in an Analogue era.
Difference was, people with SARS had the highest viral load - and were most infectious at the peak of their illness, so by the time symptoms were showing and people were isolated, you could control the spread pretty well. This is not the case with COVID, and is also one of the reasons why COVID will become endemic, rather than being defeated. Vaccinated and asymptomatic people are highly infectious, just like with the common cold.
