Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Only a Global lockdown last January or February could of eradicated the virus.
No, it wouldn't have.
The virus doesn't care about your laws.
Not necessarily true If you would of taken harsh action back then you may have eradicated it the same way SARS was eradicated in 2003. SARS was in a dozen countries already. It literally should of been a pandemic but somehow through careful actions tracing we caught it all.

Seems like all this mask wearing has eradicated the FLU. If you look at the data anyway and assume there are no overlaps. I don't 100% trust the data myself, i think some flu cases are being chalked up as Covid last year but not currently as its not flu season.
SARS-1 didn't spread as fast.
It was much more lethal but much less contagious.

Also it didn't eradicate the flu. How many times do I have to explain the flu myth???

Oke so I sat down this evening to eat my pizza and watch the news for once and I was met with the best and worst news.
The good news is that on september 1, restaurants and cafe's will open again without resctriction, you still have to wear the mask when you get up to pay or take a piss (dumb). In october the nightclubs will open again.

The bad news is that our minister of health and social affairs is saying something absolutely concerning. I'll paraphrase: "We will not force the population to get vaccinated as long as all of them eventually get vaccinated. If there are still people left that are not vaccinated, we will make it mandatory anyways, by law." We have no fucking choice here. None. It's basically "if you don't surrender now, you will surrender later but you will eventually have to give up."
The journo interviewing him was like "so what about the nurses that don't get vaccinated? What shall we do with them? Take their pay? Fire them?"
The minister said you just can't be a sick nurse and take care of sick people. (Doesn't make sense) "You have to get vaccinated if you wanna keep working as a nurse"... The journo then brought up a good point that we already have such a abismal shortage of care-personnel and that this is a bad idea and the minister just shrugged and said that there will be consequences in the future if you don't get the jab.

It's headin' south here.

I would not recommend that. With as Gestapo as they are already, they will absolutely start charging people with felony forgery if they get caught.
Yeah I'd be wary about using a bootleg version of the vaccine card in official settings. However, if it's something small like a store or something where there's little chance they can cross reference with anything, I'd use it then. It hasn't come to that yet but that's my reasoning.

Let's see if he'll be more lucky then the former Kentucky lawmaker who was killed by corona-chan and was vaccinated.
Brent Yonts, a former Kentucky state representative from Muhlenberg County, died Friday morning of COVID-19, a Greenville funeral home confirmed. He was 72.

Yonts, a Democrat who had battled COVID-19 on a ventilator for several days, had been fully vaccinated, said two of his legislative colleagues — Sen. Whitney Westerfield, R-Hopkinsville, and retired Rep. Jim Wayne, D-Louisville.

Breakthrough infections, in which vaccinated people test positive for the virus and sometimes develop symptoms, are becoming more common in the state, according to public health statistics.

Reuters reported Friday that Israeli doctors have found breakthrough cases mostly in older, sicker patients. The Biden Administration has recommended a third vaccine shot among immunocompromised individuals immediately, and for the rest of the nation later this fall.

“The commonwealth mourns the loss of Brent Yonts, a leader who worked to better the lives of Kentuckians across the commonwealth,” Gov. Andy Beshear said in a statement. “Britainy and I extend our deepest sympathies to Jan and the entire Yonts family as we hold them close in prayer during this difficult time. “
They didn't specified if the jabs was from Pzifer or Moderna. Speaking of Moderna. When the bad news about Moderna hit Zero Hedge, how long before it'll arrive to the rest of the msm?

The Internet's social-media censors have been extremely vigilant at suppressing every tidbit of COVID vaccine "misinformation" that comes their way. So, as readers might imagine, drawing attention to publicly released data about the rare (but sometimes deadly) side effects associated with both mRNA and adenovirus-vector jabs has been...a challenge.

But let's back up: over the past couple of months, health authorities in the US and Israel connected rare instances of myocarditis - that is, inflammation of the heart - to the mRNA jabs produced by Pfizer and Moderna. After a hurried secret meeting with its advisors in late June, the FDA reluctantly released a warning about a "likely association" between incidences of myocarditis and the new side effects.

And now, a new twist: On Thursday evening, the Washington Post published a report claiming that the Moderna coronavirus vaccine may be associated with a higher risk of myocarditis in younger adults than previously believed. The report relies on new data from a Canadian study that has yet to be released.

How much more dangerous is the Moderna jab than the Pfizer? Well, the preliminary data leaked to WaPo show the risk of myocarditis might be as much as 2.5x higher for the Moderna jab.

The news represents the latest bump in the road for Moderna's high-flying stock, as patients (especially younger men in their 20s and 30s deemed at highest risk to suffer the side effect) now have an incentive to prefer Pfizer's jab over Moderna's (if they still have any confidence in the mRNA jabs at all, that is).

WaPo's sources stressed that the new research hasn't yet been concluded, and that there's still plenty of work to be done before the FDA decides whether to attach another warning label to the Moderna jabs. The sources also claimed that the new data "are not slam bang".

Same here... My take is that we should fight the card regulations until they mandate, and enforce, them at the grocery stores. Then... no holds barred cause you gotta eat. But hopefully it won't come to that.

Makes sense after all, here are the deaths for MA:

You know it's bad when even the Washington Post is reporting "ehh MAYBE Moderna can lead to heart problems."

Edit: Holy fuck, even Yahoo is acknowledging it. Something MUST be up.

Here's hoping for the slim chance that governments and their pharma mistresses will just take the L and let us go back to the actual normal.

Roll back to 12 months ago and having two jabs was a conspiracy theory
Roll back 6 months ago and having to have a booster shot was a conspiracy theory
Roll back last week and jab side effects were a conspiracy theory.

I'm getting tired of shit being labelled a conspiracy theory, a big fucking slap fight happening, only for the conspiracy theorists to be proved correct, again.

I want them to stop treating us like mongs and tell us the fucking truth. But they won't, because this whole thing is a lie.

So, we're now in a situation where everyone - even the NPC muppets, agree that the jab lasts X amount of time and needs boosters to keep up with the different variants (funny how we blasted through 4 variants in a month and now we haven't had a new variant for...4 months?). What happens when the next variant comes out? New boosters for all, but wait! Not only are you susceptible to the new variants, regardless of jab status, you're now MORE AT RISK if you get the jab.

They push these jabs, through soft force, through locking you out of freedoms you had 18 months ago, and we're supposed to believe with everything that has happened, has been admitted to and continues to happen, that there isn't something nefarious going on in the background? At this point in time I'm hoping and praying that this is a money making scheme, because if the conspiracy theorists are right, again, and these jabs are a de-population event, then open a funeral parlour, because you're about to be stinking rich.

It's worse than that. If you've had the jab, you're more susceptible to new strains. Imagine a new strain coming along that's mild for the unjabbed, but is highly lethal/fatal for those who have been jabbed? The Tasmanian devil wouldn't be able to spin that one.
They're not conspiracy theories, they're spoiler alerts.

The Washington Post, Yahoo covered the side effects of Moderna and meanwhile the FDA will give its approval to Pzifer during next week. If it isn't a coincidence, I don't know what it is.

The Food and Drug Administration is pushing to approve Pfizer-BioNTech’s two-dose Covid-19 vaccine on Monday, further expediting an earlier timeline for licensing the shot, according to people familiar with the agency’s planning.

Regulators were working to finish the process by Friday but were still working through a substantial amount of paperwork and negotiation with the company. The people familiar with the planning, who were not authorized to speak publicly about it, cautioned that the approval might slide beyond Monday if some components of the review need more time.

An F.D.A. spokeswoman declined to comment.

The agency had recently set an unofficial deadline for approval of around Labor Day.

The approval is expected to pave the way for a series of vaccination requirements by public and private organizations who were awaiting firmer regulatory backing before implementing mandates. Federal and state health officials are also hoping that an approved vaccine will draw interest from some Americans who have been hesitant to take one that was only authorized for emergency use, a phenomenon suggested by recent polling.

Some universities and hospitals are expected to mandate inoculation once a vaccine is fully approved. The Pentagon earlier this month said it plans to make Covid vaccinations mandatory for the country’s 1.3 million active-duty troops “no later” than the middle of next month, or sooner if the F.D.A. acts earlier.

The timing of the approval could result in an uncomfortable messaging problem for the Biden administration, which on Wednesday announced that fully vaccinated people should prepare to get booster shots eight months after they received second doses. Approving the vaccine and encouraging boosters at the same time may suggest to some that the vaccine as licensed is inadequate without an extra shot.

The F.D.A. last week updated its authorizations of Pfizer-BioNTech’s and Moderna’s vaccine to allow third doses for some immunocompromised people, a decision backed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Regulators are still reviewing Moderna’s application for full approval for its coronavirus vaccine, and a decision could come at least several weeks after the one for Pfizer-BioNTech.

I have a feeling the approval is going to be some weasly ‘approval that’s not actually an approval’ to give the media enough drive to say it’s approved while also CYA.

Is there any actual consequence to the vaccine not being approved? It seems that the EAU is indefinite and no court has actually struck down a vaccine mandate, government or private.
