Keep in mind that the devs replaced their original narrative people with a different, external team a year ago, pretty much right after the game's announcement. And they absolutely had to do it because there was no way they were ever going to get back in the good graces of their woke target audience as long as persona-non-grata Kate Gray remained involved in any capacity. The original 2021 release year was stated in the announcement trailer, before the controversy occurred, and the announced 2022 delay now is (at least to some extent) the caught-up consequence of the development upheaval that controversy demanded of them.

The new narrative team has been no secret. Their part was revealed by the devs in the month following the game's announcement.

And the game's dead. Not fully (yet) but I'm ready to call it cancelled. The delay and even the dev team being tossed was expected (to me at least) but for them to be so public about it... This game's fucked.
Also I never noticed that soda's name in the trailer- they really were THAT uncreative huh? "We'll take out the L and swap the V in 'volcano'!" This upsets me more than it should but THEY REUSED THE FUCKING TITLE/HIGHSCHOOL NAME FOR A FUCKING SODA BRAND. Jesus, call it 'flavorassic' and just say they misspelt 'tastic' and went with it.

Also, why isn't there alcohol at that fire? Aren't they teenage rebels? Why wouldn't they be drinking beer? That's right next to smoking as part of rebellious youth stereotypes. FFS this doesn't matter yet I'm using this as evidence as why the team getting the boot is somewhat justified separate from the Harry Potter erotica drama or whatever, MOVING ON.
IF (not when, IF) this game's ever released, because of the new tagline involving love, I ask if there should be a poll for predicting who the love interest is, including a 'pivot to dating sim' option. Then again, does it matter if it probably won't get released?

The retardera thread about the delay had less than 30 responses and then died. I could not find any other notable mentions of GVH on the forum.

You know your game is beyond salvation if the wokest "gaming" community that is inside your target demographic does not show interest for it.

I was going to say that maybe the fired they old team when they discovered that they can't employ these kind of people, they should only sell woke product to them. Then with Alter Ego's post it becomes clear that you shouldn't try to sell product to those people either. Don't cater to them at all, in any way.

Did that turn out to not be a scam? I know they just fucked the main ark game with the latest patch and broke a fuckload of shit across all platforms.
