At which point they scream "you hit a woman, you hit a woman" and spam social media with posts about how the violent MAN assaulted a WOMAN!
Unfortunately they can only repeat this tactic so many times before the inbuilt response functioning humans have in a society to dislike seeing men hit women starts to struggle. No-one wants to see that happen but when you've seen enough of Antifa's crap to know she's likely been baiting that response with everything she has available to her for a good half hour you start to get less sympathetic.
Also they're allegedly anti-fascists who think they're actively fighting against fascism. Seeing them scream that "you can't do that, there's rules!" just reminds everyone that they are literal idiot children playing a game. "Nooooo, she's a girl and the rules say no-one's allowed to hit girls. Or anyone wearing mostly black and a mask. And you can't film us. If you don't follow the rules we'll beat you up if we outnumber you twenty to one and if not we're going home!"
Case in fucking point. "We're just like these heroes!" No you're not. You're the ones at the other side of Europe being shot in the head by the commissar because you whined "but I don't want to charge into the bullets."
