Yeah, I mean I think collapse, even if it kills a lot of animals, it isn't going to end all life on earth. The main danger isn't extinction of humanity per se, but rather if we do have a massive societal collapse then we will never return to an industrial age as we have used up our peak oil.

I can't grasp the conditions under which this is evil. Should poor people in third world countries knowingly have children despite them going to live in squalor with little upwards mobility? If you know that the government will become increasingly draconic, should you really have children under those conditions? Even beyond climate change, there are a number of things we are fucking up which would make having children unwise. At the very least your children will be forced to live a far shittier life. With that said, I don't know about people's children dying in just 10 years unless they were living in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I agree with this. We only reached this carrying capacity was a result of multiple technological advances in agriculture. If we reverted back to pre-industrial technology, no doubt billions would have to die first.
With regards to the policies, I don't know if they really need to be that extreme. Mass migration is definitely not a solution to anything. 3rd world countries have a comparatively low ecological footprint (especially if we ignore industries). Moving them to the west does nothing. Climate refugees are a completely different thing entirely, but I feel as though Europe would be in a pretty bad place itself if that happened. This is especially the case if the gulf stream collapses.
If people are seriously suggesting this stuff, they are being very partial about what things to be optimistic/pessimistic about. If shit hits the fan, EVERYONE is fucked. "Humanitarian efforts" would just be pathetic idealism at that point, lol.
It's sort of funny when you see billionaires like Bill Gates talk about climate stuff too. These people have no skin in the game. You won't hear them talking about accepting refugees in their private estates, nor will these people

Oh yeah, furthermore on the topic of if Vaush is a marxist or not, I thought the whole breadtuber movement is in reference to the book "The Conquest of Bread". That's why I think he might not follow Marx that faithfully if at all. Again I have no clue. I also don't know how you guys can watch Vaush videos.
Even other leftists have criticized Vaush's methods. People tend to dismiss this stuff as stupid infighting, and a lot of it is. However, there is a sizeable chunk of it that comes from the fact that a lot of these leftist content creators are primarily entertaining clowns and only secondarily people that are vaguely trying to educate people. The worst part is that it makes fucking bank.
