Plagued Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

Here's a vid where they're moaning while smelling scented Squishmallows. They bought all 10 of the mystery bags that were available at the store, They only got 4 of the 6 from the series, and at the end says they're going to continue buying more mystery bags to get the remaining two.
Fucks sake, bald guy just steals all the attention. For being such a bizarre case of personality. Here you are thinking bald guys with tattoos are supposed to be somewhat manly, but nah. Here you got a fag so unmanly it would make normal women seem like a man in comparison.

There's a growing movement of corporate shills who are trying to get corporations recognized as living things. I think the endgame is for them to be granted protected status complete with pronouns and shit, so that things like complaining about a corporate decision or an annoying advertising campaign will now be legally considered discrimination/hate speech and people can be fined/censored over it.

A few of these people do genuinely see corporations as living things though. Which I probably don't need to tell you is horrendously dangerous.
They literally made an entire documentary about this concept

It's about what you said, corporations slowly turning into "individuals" with the same rights as humans

And that documentary is from fucking 2003, it's insane how long this has been going on

And only a single video that breaks the 1.5k mark. I'm glad nobody wants to watch that shit.

Man, that guy has such a creepy face, but I guess that's what you get from the kind of people who feel the need to buy an identity.
He looks like Warren Jeffs in disguise.

Som of these look good but $14,000 for a statue? You could buy a car with that money lol.

Simps will literally buy a Dimitrescu statue? She only appears in Resident Evil Village for about 30 minutes

So an update on this Bugman I found back in March. I decided to finally steel myself to go back to his channel and see if it was still the same. Yup. It is. Another Wall of Soy incoming.

According to his own videos, his collection, which was around 600 when last I paid attention to him, is now over 1500.

Now I am going to go back to not looking at this abomination for several more months to recharge my batteries. I would wonder how a person could even know what all of this stuff is supposed to be, but I realized somehow its all the most basic mass market shit imaginable.
Yet he is still burning his wallet on “valuable” vinyl. The average Redditor.

Note: Nothing wrong with buying a few nendroids or anime statues of your favorite character (that doesnt cost too much) but having a collection of plastic or buying life sized statues is straight up consooming.

She is virtually the only thing being discussed in REVIII, it seems.

Once chinese get the whiff of her popularity, we will probably get 200$ giant blowup dolls of her. Unless these already exist.

What makes it really stupid is that they had a $14K statue that break easily in a bad location. Yes, it fits the consoomer archtype, but a life-sized statue would be kinda cool and seems more like a rich person thing than an inherently consoomer thing. Although, if you're going to throw stupid money at something like that, go bigger and get a bronze statue or something like that as it'd be more durable and harder to knock over.

An actual good looking figure is on average starting on 200 usd, not talking about nendoroids. They start on 60 usd, I think. Probably less if you're pre-ordering, but that's a bit fanatical to me. But real coonsomers do buy every pre-order, if they can. Which is only for a month, the pre-order period.

I can't tell if that guy is being intentionally dumb for a joke or is actually that dumb. I thought RLM was pretty well known in most online circles, that video is literally part of a parody series making fun of all those godawful consoomer podcasts.
To be fair if you don't know about RLM at all (which admittedly I only know the name but not knowing who they are), it's natural for you to look at the image macro, surrounded by tons of action figures, and naturally be like "Yeah, he's ironically a consoomer himself", and not taking it seriously.

This one is even worse imo:

They have built a studio filled with figurines and nerd shit but they are only "pretending to be retard".

"But it's just a comedic sketch! It's for laughs!". But these morons watch everything on day one and say the movies are good anyway. What's the point in mocking fake geek culture and be addicted to this shit at the same time? daily reminder they absolutely adored The Force Awakens, they probably even clapped unironically when Solo returned to the Falcon.

Are they even? They're fucking tiny, unless you're talking about a baby it's not really something they can hug,
I had them as a small child and played with them like they were dolls. I also remember crying all night bc my favorite dog got lost only to be found two days later when my mom did my laundry. I was like 5 or 6
Cleaners see all. I've seen a very similar scenario. Allow me to present a case study, anonymized of course, so as not to PL.
This family had more than one kid, but the eldest kid got the biggest room, which led to some tension with the younger ones who felt it wasn't fair. Except it turns out the eldest didn't get to use all of "her room" because it's actually where the mom was storing her hoard. It was only when the hoard started spilling into the other rooms of the home that the younger children realized what was going on.
This was years ago, mind you, and of the children all ended up with some form of minimalist tendencies and weird behavior towards their belongings.

Cats know the true value of pussy isn't measured in simpbux.
Also, Alinty is weak, WEAK!
My mom is a mild case of consoomer/hoarder. She buys way too much shit she doesn't need or use because she read some facebook post with pretty mason jars and had a whim to try making her own pickles or some shit. She then never bothers actually doing the thing, because she would rather sit around reading more facebook posts instead. So she just has piles of unused useless crap laying around her house and doesn't pay any attention to it or get rid of anything because her actual surroundings don't give her the same dopamine hit as internet points. I honestly ended up having an anti consoomer/minimalist type of outlook because of her.

I can't understand why in hell you would go to Japan just to peruse the fucking sugar drink franchise from the US or their flavor of Americanized theme parks. I would have to guess it's related to these people being unable to ever step outside of the comfort zones, but there's a billion shops of Japan exclusive items that they could consoom at instead. The Pokemon cafe is probably the only thing here that makes any sense to waste trip time on. And even then it's just generic food dyed wacky colors.

To be fair, finding something that seems so familiar (like a Starbucks) and then seeing how it presents itself to another culture is always interesting. Like I've heard a lot of people--and I don't mean weebs, I mean people--say Japanese McDonalds is way better than American McDonalds.

In most countries you have street markets where the cheap food there is both tastier and cheaper than fast food, so fast food joints need to put themselves into a sort of middle ground between the cheap pig swill they sell in the States and an actual restaraunt.

Another part of it is local food law. It's not the same "McDonalds burger" everywhere you go because different regions have different laws for what you're allowed to feed people.

Guy deserve a beating, just for waving at the screens like a motherfucking kid. It's cute when kids do it, because they aren't mature. You look like you have actual development problems when you do it as an adult :stress:
Made this just for you :heart-full:

Yeah.

Speaking as a Britbong I can confirm that UK fast food is healthier than American fast food (which admittedly doesn't mean much) because the UK has laws about putting corn syrup into everything.

Not just the UK, or just fast food, junk food, in general, is just normally better for you and higher quality in most counties outside America.

The reason why the big American chocolate makes is seen as a joke elsewhere. Or why you hear Americans jizz over Mexican Coke.
