Plagued Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

<Weird seething>

A few things I'll mention:

Markets exist because of a demand. Men wanting to throw money at women online/give them attention could be because they don't want to deal with people in real life. Maybe it's because they want extra mileage with their jerkoff material. I've got no idea but the basis is likely a lot less sinister or manipulative than you figure. I'm not simping here but people act like it's the easiest thing in the world for women to do. Have you seen the retards they have to put up with the daily? I don't think I'd have the patience to deal with mouthbreathing dumbass #5 talking about feet and licking ass, but they do. Most of these people have some weird shit going and the way I see it, it's a healthy outlet for it. Most of the time.

As you've said, it doesn't reward people who try to keep the attention of a single person. It doesn't because the goal isn't a monogamous relationship. Looking a certain way, being able to put on a performance, having a marketable skill or way of dealing with people is what they can do. Some men just want to see a woman who can put giant objects up their ass (basically) on command. Do you think it's wiser for them to try and cultivate a relationship with someone and hedge on them doing that or to splash out $10 to get a custom video? I think I know the costlier and more time-effective option of the 2.

As for the comment on rural communities and the social decline, let me give you the scoop since I've lived in multiple my entire life. Two people get together (usually after high school), they have a couple of kids, they end up cheating on one another with mutual facebook friends. Throw in an opioid or meth addiction, crippling debt because they punch far above their means of living, and you've got the typical relationship out in the sticks as I see it. The end to this modern love story is a guy working his dick off in a factory job while his bitch of an ex-wife passes out in her minivan in a Walmart parking lot because she can't handle the heroin. Kids get shipped off to live with grandma, END SCENE.

Funko pops are the Beanie Baby of the modern day. There are people who think they'll be an investment, and I 100% guarantee they'll loose value by about the time Gen Z is in their 30s at most. And even if they don't: Their ugly and I hate them.

Like, of all things I don't understand why people collect them. I get why people buy Legos as an adult. Model building is fun, and some people want a simpler version than the full on glue and paint build. Figurines can look cool. But funko pops look cheap, ugly, and you can't do anything with them. Why do people collect these

things like complaining about a corporate decision or an annoying advertising campaign will now be legally considered discrimination/hate speech and people can be fined/censored over it
Say what you will about Soviet Russia, they (at least) pretended to have a nobler cause for killing people than wanting to make profit.

You have a point. The only differences is that I can see are Funko pops are plastic and based on popular brands. However, the majority of pops will lose their value because unlike other action figures/toys don't resemble the characters they're based on and fans would prefer the original over a novelty any day.

One thing I will say in defense of Beanie Babies is that they're good for kids who like to sleep with a stuffed animal since they're nice soft plush toys and the stitching is pretty solid.

At the end of the day Beanie Babies were plush toys for small children, and nothing about their collectability really got in the way of that, so they were still a decent product when you take the gimmicky collector aspect out of it. Funkos have no purpose beyond being an ugly desk ornament for manchildren.

Agreed. I think most of the people who bought them did it because they had kids who thought they were cute.

and how many soyfaces can you spot in this screengrab of just SOME of whats on offer on this channel?
So an update on this Bugman I found back in March. I decided to finally steel myself to go back to his channel and see if it was still the same. Yup. It is. Another Wall of Soy incoming.

According to his own videos, his collection, which was around 600 when last I paid attention to him, is now over 1500.

Now I am going to go back to not looking at this abomination for several more months to recharge my batteries. I would wonder how a person could even know what all of this stuff is supposed to be, but I realized somehow its all the most basic mass market shit imaginable.

Stumbled upon these two men who consoom mostly girl toys.

They have a YouTube channel where they pump out daily videos of them unboxing toys.

Here's a vid where they're moaning while smelling scented Squishmallows. They bought all 10 of the mystery bags that were available at the store, They only got 4 of the 6 from the series, and at the end says they're going to continue buying more mystery bags to get the remaining two.

Mandatory soy face:

And only a single video that breaks the 1.5k mark. I'm glad nobody wants to watch that shit.

I looked it up and I do not like what I found.

Man, that guy has such a creepy face, but I guess that's what you get from the kind of people who feel the need to buy an identity.

Cleaners see all. I've seen a very similar scenario. Allow me to present a case study, anonymized of course, so as not to PL.
This family had more than one kid, but the eldest kid got the biggest room, which led to some tension with the younger ones who felt it wasn't fair. Except it turns out the eldest didn't get to use all of "her room" because it's actually where the mom was storing her hoard. It was only when the hoard started spilling into the other rooms of the home that the younger children realized what was going on.
This was years ago, mind you, and of the children all ended up with some form of minimalist tendencies and weird behavior towards their belongings.
I've noticed there seems to be a pattern of cats appropriately punishing their owners.
