Was back in a Blue State city visiting a friend. I had the single most depressing covid encounter since the clusterfuck started last year there. Walked right into supermarket with all the good little Democrats wearing their magical face diapers and as far as I could tell the only person maskless.

I was walking around picking up items when I was suddenly accosted by a 60 something year old man. Like a child he whined and demanded to know how I was able to just do what I was doing without 'getting in trouble'.

The weakness was nauseating.

Call me dumb but have there been any covid/vaccine skeptics that DIDN'T die from covid? How convenient that all these people who stepped forward to lead the movement are in the 0.09% that croaks from the coof.

This has troubled me for awhile too. Given I know so many people already primed to kill for the cause, I wouldn't be shocked if some already have. When you say this they act like you're a conspiracy theorist as if we don't have history books full of people killing for political reasons.

Well it's been known for some time now that putting people with healthy lungs in a ventilator does more harm than good.

As a person that got COVID and beat it, I switched from being hesitant about getting the vaccine to outright refusal.

The way they are pushing the vaccines is just unnerving. But what really got me to change mind was the sudden shift when I came to data. I believe it was shortly after Biden was elected that the CDC would not count COVID positive cases where the person was not hospitalized or dies.

Next was the complete lack of data regarding COVID. We keep getting news reports on how supposedly its more deadly but we have very little data. Additionally, is the lack of studies pertaining to person like me that got COVID and beat it in relation to Delta outcomes. Very few studies have been done on this and the studies that have been done only study persons with previous infection based on the variable of vaccination. Browsing that study, they never reported what worse outcomes were. Was it just testing positive, a case of the snuffles, or hospitalization?

It just seems once Biden was elected and vaccinations became available, providing quality data to the public became irrelevant and the sole effort was towards vaccination.
