I've been at work so I haven't had a chance to dig into anything about him yet, but since you've done the bulk of the legwork for me -- god damn. It's amazing how many of these special snowflakes you can describe by just grabbing a handful of gross adjectives and throwing them in the air to see what sticks. Funny twist that he's an inflatophile, but like, the pool toys variety. That's a huge honeypot of autism in the fandom. I've never met a pool toy fur who wasn't either outright batshit crazy, or was subdued IRL but severely socially crippled and with a multi-thousand dollar collection of expensive inflatable animals in their closet.

I got a response back from the person in the fandom that I know who was involved in this mess. I had strong reservations bringing up this issue with him earlier due to the impact this has had on his personal life, which I am still not fully aware of nor is it my place to ask. However because he can be traced back to the "birth" of @badfurbgone I figured he might have some insight on the matter. I finally bit the bullet and sent an email. "No shit is too minor." He is familiar with the Farms as well as this thread and requested I leave out his name.

Needless to say, the actual "cause" of this whole shitstorm is hilarious, to me at least.

He says:

A couple of weeks ago on Twitter I went on a tirade about my Windows phone. I tweeted about using the Cortana app to play a Roxette playlist while I was driving and the phone just crashed instead. I got into a discussion with a follower about Siri and Cortana and said something along the lines of Siri being a cunt but Cortana being literally retarded. This upset someone else and they responded with what amounted to "don't say retard" so my response was to be an asshole to them and I mocked their request. This person in turn started tweeting pictures of my posts and calling me out with his cronies, which was fine until Fliff got involved. Fliff and Bailey and a number of other people in the circle that was blasting me started comparing me to Sibe. Sibe has an actual criminal record I think, and if not that then I know he's banned from every major con that I can think of. That didn't sit well with me, and because all of these people were friends of someone that I'm seeing I told them that his friends needed to either back off or grow up. This in turn caused a whole shitstorm that made the problem worse and apparently broke up friendships in the process. Fliff and Bailey got wasted and started drunk tweeting and not long after that Fliff's furry block list came out. By that point I had made my account private and apologized to the person I originally offended, they accepted and I've been alternating between ignoring this matter and trying to make light of it.

I know I am probably misusing this phrase, however I think it is safe to declare "Tango Down" on @badfurbgone; the list is dead and has laid dormant for over two weeks now. The block list's final Twitter post was made on August 31st and @HECKSCAPER has remained the most recent addition to the shitlist for about 13 days. Despite the block bot allegedly having four other administrators, none of them appear to give a shit about the project -- either that, or /baph/ or one of the other groups that Fliffums kept taunting finally socked him where it hurt and shut him (and his cronies) up...

...which is good for Fliffums because a source I was speaking with provided me with some amusing anecdotes about our furry friend here. I'm not one to hit a guy when he's down, so I'll just file that under "F" for "autism" and bide my time until -- and if -- Fliffums decides to rise again. Semper Fi, Kiwis.

We'll see. I'll need to think on it; originally I was hesitant to bother a friend of mine who was directly involved with this mess but I elected to flip-flop on those morals and I approached him with reasonable results. (He didn't get pissed off at me, so for all I care that's a win by me.)

I try to be "Chaotic Good" when I handle myself in lolcow communities. Maybe it's just good sportsmanship, but I do only just enough damage or score only just enough points to win. :oops:

edit: I am also a complete and total sociopath and holding ammunition against people gives me a raging furry hateboner. :cool:
