Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

it's a sign of weakness and vote of no confidence against the DNC if Biden resigns, that's why. And more to the point, will decimate the Democrats on a national level, meaning another lengthy generation length stint in the wilderness politically where the GOP will most likely have control over the House, the Senate, the Presidency, Supreme Court, AND most of the state governments including California.

Kamala will be a lame duck if they axe Biden and she knows it. And they won't be able to push half the shit they want to push through before being exiled from power for 8-12 years with her in power, and God knows the pandora's box of blowback/payback they'll get if they lose control over the House let alone the Senate in 2022. Not to mention Trump, who's probably already got the storyboards ready for the ads that will run when he announces he is running for re-election along the lines of "are you better off than you were four years ago?" to go straight to filming for airing.

The democrats have a year and a half left to go before they hit the point of no return. Them pushing Covid super hard is necessary if they intend to cheat like motherfuckers in 2022 to keep control over the Congress/shore up a majority in the Senate and add another two years to the clock (hence them also importing a TON of Afghani to red states too). Biden getting removed before 2022 fucks up even that time table.

Hell, they can't even kill him off at this point, since the national narrative would be (if they fake a natural death) that Biden was super sick and should never of been President, while have the nation will think (if they go the assassination route) that he was asking for it and that they are tired of being made to feel ashamed for feeling/saying it in public.

The welfare state did not take away the forestry service, climate change has increased forest fires, along with drought making the fires harder to fight. Firefighters of today are not lazy.

Science is the study of the natural world. It evolves as we learn more about reality. Screaming SCIENCE is idiotic, because science 100 years ago allowed us to buy meth and cocaine over the counter and perform labotomies for mental disorders.

I'm going to disagree that hot weather causes forest fires. California has a unique topography and the Native Americans that lived there had to manage it and did so constantly. From what I know California Conservation Corps has been been steadily underfunded while funds for expanded welfare for illegals has increased dramatically. That not only strains the budget but put additional demand on the state as a whole.

If some climate change proponents are to be believed and climate change causes more storms then the heavier Sierra runoffs should increase water supply, not diminish it. California should perhaps prioritize water conservation rather than allow the unchecked explosion of crops that required larges amounts of water and irrigation, like almonds. Again the demands of huge numbers of illegals who flock to California for the freebies is taking away resources better spent on managing the land for the benefit of the citizens who pay a large portion of their income to the State Franchise Tax Board.

And who made those farms? Rich conservative farm magnates who probably lobby the GOP come every election. Taking those away would hurt their bottom line, and the rich Goppers can't have that.

I mean if with the forest fires in California you would show him a source that says :“California cuts budget for fire-fighting measures including controlled fires, diverts it to homeless drug program in LA.“
He would simply say: „yeah but a budget cut is not a total cancel, there were still measures going on to fight fires. The fact that climate change makes fires such a regular occurrence is indicative of trumpsters stupidity to ignore science and reality. Oh and, get with the times old man.“

I'm referring to the large scale farms that grow almonds and the like. The largest producer of almonds in California is Paramount Farms, owned by the Wonderful Co, a privately held company controlled by the Resnicks. I guess you can call them a family if you squint hard enough.
