Apex Legends - "Titanfall 3? No. Here, get a Battle Royale instead."

I finally checked out the new content and it's still full of sweaty tryhard streamers.
And they added some character with a gigantic ass, Loba, and her finisher actually involves her ass prominently.
The next character announced looks like biker bar trash but so far they haven't announced a map based on Osceola, Indiana so he can feel at home.

Beyond the low effort woke garbage, I actually like this game. The only battle royale game I want to play. Though they need to fix their netcode badly.

I do find it hilarious when people get offended that people don’t use Bloodhound’s preferred pronouns on the official Discord. It’s a fictional character in a battle royale video game, get over it.

It's not worth the trouble, the Apex experience can be summed up as "Sweaty tryhards killing you as either Wraith, Bloodhound or any nigger". Skill based matchmaking is anything but that as it will pair up novice players against Predators (Ranked's highest tier) or they will purposely abuse the system to get paired in lower rank lobbies.

Also no hope for people getting over it when the game writers, art directors and even developers run around twitter policing playerbase's posts and screech like crazy Tumblrinas "It's THEY/THEM!!!"

I disagree, the matchmaking system may act up but it does attempt to do skill tiers when it matches up players into lobbies. It’s not perfect but it’s not like newbs are constantly going into predator lobbies. To back it up, I’ve watched a really bad streamer play last season and he was thrown into some bad lobbies that I knew I would of absolutely steamrolled through.

To get proficient in this game without a fast paced FPS pedigree, I recommend at least 300 to 500 hours. I remember spending the first 100 hours dreading hot drops and now that’s pretty much all I want to do as long as the location makes sense. This is a competitive game, more so than Titanfall 2. Being sweaty makes sense in a Battle Royale game.

Out of all the characters I think Bloodhound is the most stale in terms of lines. All the other characters, except Wraith, have way more interesting line deliveries and their characters feel like they are more than cardboard cut outs. So the one non-binary character is nothing more than a flat character. Bloodhound’s character model dates back to the concept art for the original Titanfall, they just reused asserts and attempted to write characters for them. Again, the woke stuff in game is really low effort.

I haven’t played Apex Legends for the same reason I haven’t played Overwatch. I despise Overwatch. I hate that aesthetic. You know the one. That toon aesthetic that’s half Unreal Tournament, half Kim Possible, and zero verisimilitude. That Firefall-like look where art majors with zero mechanical engineering knowledge think that technology consists of glowing cylinders strapped to people’s shoulders. Titanfall had a very distinctive industrial science fiction aesthetic that was part Chris Foss, part Neill Blomkamp, and part Rob Cunningham. To see it overridden with generic fucking “international-style” Overwatch toon bullshit is unforgivable eye rape, and EA is detestable for doing it. When I play Titanfall, I wanna play goddamn Titanfall, not Erin Esurance with guns.
LOL, EA handed a Japanese Apex Legends player a 7-day ban for saying “nigero” (i.e. “run away”).

This is anything but EA. You should really blame respawn after titanfall 2 they had a brain drain and many went back to infinity ward. Respawn devs on twitter silence all criticism with blocks and complaints of “toxic fans”.

So I tried to make a club called 'white lives matter' but got denied for hate speech, yet there is a black lives matter group. God I wish I could do a lolsuit.

Either way I'm done with the game because team fill never fucking works.

There's a lot of things that never fucking work with this game like the team fills, being sent as a solo on fucking ranked, Predators being put into bronze lobbies, texture errors, random disconnections, shitty pings, peacekeeper shots not registering.

Yet it gets a pass for catering to niggers and genderspecials, the clownery...

To sum it up: "They hacked Titanfall, to fix Titanfall, to get hired by Respawn, to revive a free-to-play Titanfall port made for the Asian market by Nexon."

I had fun for about six months, then I moved on. I should have recorded some of the squeakers raging, it was epic.
