They did approved thalidomide in 1998, but with strict precautions for women. It's initial approval was blocked, but only by one person, so they almost didn't catch the problem.Reddit's like, "Anti-Vaxers gonna be moving the goalposts!"
I'm not sure what to think of this. I'd decided that if we got two years into the vaccination program, and people were generally handling it well, and the witch hunts had died down, and there's clear data saying the vaccine would improve upon my natural Covid antibodies, then I'd get it. Do I care about what the FDA thinks? How is their track record with approvals and safety? Did they approve thamaldahyde and if so, how is this safer?
