A letter of marque is pretty strictly defined in allowing a non-state entity to attack another nations assets. I don't think they can even issue a letter of marque against their own national entities, or citizenry, just foreign assets.

You have to look at their Wikipedia entry for their medals. Funny thing is, in the last week they've been scrubbing those wikipedia entries to get rid of why they got the high level Defense Department dicksucker medals.

The biggest thing is that the Bronze Star got devalued into a "congrats, you're an officer who showed up at the war zone and didn't stick your weapon up your ass".

Their Wikipedia pages show pretty plainly that they're a bunch of do-nothings. I've done an explanation several times on their awards.

I can fully see the Taliban calling in their new friends the Chinese/Russians to evacuate people if/when the US fails. It would be a massive PR loss for the US and will further entrench the fallen empire narrative.
