General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

The chicken is currently talking about how someone in the Council was talking about insecurities and worries, so she stayed with them after their stream to talk. I'm gonna guess it was about their collab not being that well received cause of the lore shit. I'm guessing a clipper is gonna make a video out of it.

The TLDR is something around this:

- People looking from the outside need to realize that Hololive is not just a golden ticket, but its also hard because of the expectations
- A bigger platform means haters and you have to grow a thick skin
- There are a lot of restrictions that you have to take into account before joining
- She had 0 input on her model. Just input on future outfits.

The next wave has 4 members - providing they don't vault one for a future wave - which means that it's worth keeping tabs on graduation announcements in the coming days/week or so. There will then be a cool down period before they are likely to resurface in October/November.

Personally I think we will see them in October given their Yōkai theming, but it could be a non-factor and they'll give the current 6 members that extra little bit of breathing space.

So far we have Lyrica, Shannon, and MarieFD: all of whom speak at LEAST 3 languages and all have stellar singing voices. If they're going for a musical wave then they're already stacked, so do you think they'll scout a 4th singer, or find someone like Selen who excels in other aspects of streaming?

Should we start the "lol nepotism" shitposts in advance? Honestly, now I'm curious what sorta guys they could pull in. I can't think of any Western male Vtubers with attractive numbers (Takahata was an already established VA so he doesn't count, Merryweather was already an established cunt writer so he doesn't count), so they're probably not gonna be able to apply the same strategy that they seemingly have up to this point. If anything, the only one that really comes to my mind is Mocca, and it's probably safe to say he's not in contention.

All I said was the hand was pretty masculine looking, the rest of the outfit with the camera in front of the face obscures her features.
Without any other pics to compare there isn't any way to tell how masculine she actually looks, holding the camera like that may make her hand look larger, the distance between her face, camera and mirror also might make it look larger.

I'm fine with nepotism if it reduces cringe, but we'll see pretty fast what's up. It's very clear NijiEN want an ever-expanding group who all vibe with one another, so it feels inevitable they're going to pick people who know each other.

And with that in mind, there are plenty of male musicians and mixers these girls work with that could feasibly get in. I'd personally like anyone that has a voice as smooth as Belmond regardless of what they do or what they're good at.

That’s rich coming from the chicken consider she had been numberfag and melt down once in a while when started.
While it’s true that when put the tag Hololive on yourself, all eyes on you and all the good and bad opinions will direct at you more and more. Unless you grow ultra thick skin else you won’t last that long (this is why Delutaya return will never happen consider the she is still mental unstable).
Luckily, unlike the chicken, all Holo Council has their own specialty so they just stick with it and doing what they do best and they will be fine.

That game was possibly the most boring game I've ever refunded. It started out pretty cool, but around the 25% mark of the sub 2 hour game, it sot of forgot that it was trying to be a puzzle game and became more of a hold-W simulator while you're being blabbed to by dollar store GLaDOS and a community college Philosophy 101 professor reading off a Wikipedia page. I don't refund every game that lasts less than 2 hours, but that one I just hated it so much that I immediately went to the support page and requested a refund.

Ive been rather welcome to the lore and more unified themes of recent Hololive gens, but despite my appreciation and enjoyment of cringy anime bullshit, Hololive is pushing it a bit too hard.
