He's been around many people who actually can do what he talks about, people who have girlfriends, large channels, etc. Ever the outsider looking in, he tries to emulate these people that he looks up to, but he can't help but do it in his geeky, weird, socially awkward way. I think it's because of the type of fanbase they have. Their fanbase is already paranoid as it is, they don't always trust alternative platforms which is why some stick to youtube or others they at least know. If Ralph and co admitted secureserver was not actually secure this could do damage to their audience who are already most likely iffy about joining SecureServer. Simple Ralph doesn't want to lose anyone so he will pass the blame onto others or down play the effects of what occurred.
The one non paying account that stood out to me was John higley. Who the fuck is that? Ralph isn't exactly generous (the fact that Kaz has to pay double while giving Ralph a fully monetized yt channel is incredible), so the few free accounts stand out a lot. Most use the same email service (working tall) so they seem to be Ralph's.

I don't think Gator knows what PHPMyAdmin is. He probably thinks it's just a web page admin interface when it's actually a web GUI direct database management interface. Not something you want left unsecured.
