Sweary Scottish trans woman 'Meb' kicks a group of terfs out of the pub where she is the duty manager. Is lauded by Twitter as a hero for it.
Ah yes, the oppressed marginalised minority who brags about having most of society on their side!
And I never realised how much I hated it before, but that thing of writing the Scotting dialectical variations like 'dinnae' and 'didnae' (I've seen the same person use both) is obnoxious and needs to stop. (Insert gif of Homer Simpson saying "Oh, geez. He actually wrote 'diddly'.")
I take it back. The notion of sending a 'hug' over the internet is degenerate and the people who do it should forfeit their right to any real physical contact, especially when it's used to reinforce behaviour like this. I've only done it once, and that was when someone's father fucking died, and the friend I was talking to didn't even get anything out of it.
Anyway, here's what this person's bio used to look like:
...which she promptly changed after realising newspapers take what you write in your Twitter bio seriously, and don't just assume you're fucking around.
(I think one paper The Scotsman referring to the 'male' part when deciding which pronoun to use, a mistake which they have since corrected. I don't believe they also called her a porn addict - they should have!)
She also tweeted that "we (as a team) decided it was because the group were a hate group and cunts lol" - which she has since deleted for legal reasons and tried to play it off as yet another joke.
Whoever it was hasn't been able to capture that one, but someone has been saving
a pretty comprehensive list of Meb's tweets to Archive.vn
Including this one from July where she humblebrags about grazing her knee. Any excuse to show off the new tiddies, I guess.
The pub in question received a slew of fake 1-star reviews on Google, (presumably from disgusting bigots who want trans women to die painfully). I counted a total of 28 fake 1-star reviews, including 13 in a row during the initial storm of bad publicity.
However, once the troon alliance arrived, they balanced it out with an even bigger slew of fake 5-star reviews. So far there have been 115 of these posted, most of which appear to come from different parts of the country, and they show no sign of slowing down. They frequently reference the "inclusivity" of the bar staff, and their willingness to remove bigots.
The frustrating part is, if the 1-star reviews bring up anything about that, they mostly just frame it as an act of misogyny. I deplore that that's become the only legitimate way to complain about them, and the fact that it's somehow not acceptable to say you dislike the mouthy tranny keyboard warrior who would clearly be a pain in the arse regardless of what gender you are.
