Especially when celebrities pull this shit. IMO there are a lot of girls that are her fans that now think, is this why I'm uncomfortable in my body? Maybe that's the answer?
Plus she seems very unhinged in interviews and completely miserable.
It sometimes seems like a
Twilight Zone episode, as a shit tonne of young & impressionable people rush out to emulate their idols. Referring to celebrities who irresponsibly spread the
“trans” lie.
Ellen Page, Noelle Stevenson (SheRa remake show runner, often called NuRa,) & plenty of others,
(

both troon, troonette, & non-binary, etc. They give no logical forethought into what
exactly they are modeling for youth who absolutely look up to them/ copy them, when the “trans” shit is the issue.
No, it’s just about being caught up in the spotlight, more often than not. In many cases, it’s obviously a midlife crises response. For example, when a woman actor hits a certain age, her value goes down. There are always exceptions, but it’s a pretty standard, unspoken, Hollywood rule. There is a dearth of starring roles for women above their early 30’s, unless it’s bit part; mom’s, grandma’s, & just character actor shit.
Ellen Page was hitting that range perfectly. No more 18-25 year old
Juno roles. She had such a baby face that her time in the sun lasted longer than usual. Trooning was absolutely partially due to this. It’s likely we’ll see more of this behavior before the troon popularity trend dies down. It deserves a very public, liable, death.
Regardless of my opinion of these celebrities work, they’ve lost any professional respect previously held in that they’ve given no regard for their young, impressionable, fans. You
do know better, as a celebrity, it’s part of the job to be constantly aware that your words & actions travel further than non-celebrities. Expectations of privacy were rendered null & void by the nature of their chosen line of work, they
know, & (it isn’t fair exactly) but that doesn’t erase reality, & illustrates that these assholes don’t care.
