I didn't think that at all, man. The collab was great. I'm just saying that coop gameplay element is another layer of complication that might make or break the fun.

Funny, but this is probably just the trope in how "complete" or God beings are typically portrayed in Japanese media, which is androgynous.

All of HoloEN has refered to Omega as "her" so the person behind Omega is probably still a woman.

People really thought Cover is a bunch of yoyr friends, and not a company that tries to get as much profit as possible. This is very much expected, but the retarded reaction like the one in reddit worries me about the parasocial state of the community. But then again, traditional streamers are also like this

Watching some clips of the Japanese Hololive girls talk about EN2, I wonder if all the lore stuff is in part something to give the Japanese speakers something to latch into and talk about.

If you don't speak English you'll have a hard time getting to know their personality until translated clips start coming in, but you can talk about all the pre-translated lore stuff easily.

I mean the HoloID girls have always been friendly with NijiID, so it wouldn't come as a surprise for them to talk with NijiEN either. No one really cares about Niji and Holo interacting outside of /vt/ retards.

Same for me, if Artemis hadn't attention whored up to debut, didn't associate with Domo, and didn't end up boring after months of hype, I wouldn't care what he was. But he scheduled fucking minesweeper his first week.

One of EN manager was pretty much dox and known on LinkedIn as a woman from Singapore.
If EN managers can start using the avatar to communicate with fans on the main channel during future events for HoloEN I can see how Omega can have multiple voices vs just 1. Heck Yagoo might start using it as well and no one will say anything.

This move is pretty much Cover is covering their asses and they can turn down troons, who being troon is the only selling point for Twitter, in future applications process without getting call out.
Plus, even if manager is a male, he probably like to look at his female avatar anyway just like how majority of girl avatars on MMORPG are male IRL.

I saw Pomu had been interacting a lot with HoloEN and IRyS so it’s pretty normal I suppose (FYI Ina did collab with Pika not too long ago). When HoloEN get more members and NijiEN get more members, they can start some tournament games or just simply Amongus (please get our Kiwi’s darling Pippa on the train for fun and giggle)

i said some part of it yeah. so far i saw Japanese viewer have divided comment with :
some more impressed and comment their personality during debut. (the nervous, their bio that shown in presentation)
some playing around with the lore (the fact that Yagoo is an actual god who can create his own universe if we take him seriously)
some actually comment like most kaigai-niki do. like joking Baels is ollie daughter, the Fox that about to eat the rat. so on
