Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

I've been thinking, we know landwhales are at the highest risk of covid after oldies and maybe even on par because a lot of the old people who died were also fat. But you can have excessive visceral fat and the related metabolic illnesses because your diet and lifestyle suck even if the middle age spread hasn't hit you yet, people who don't look massively overweight still get the sugar diabetes and heart problems. I wonder how many "healthy" people who got hit hard by covid actually had a lot of visceral fat, or shitty but sub-diabetic insulin, or the beginnings of a dodgy heart, but hadn't been diagnosed with anything yet.

(coincidently the mass use of a non sterilizing notvaccine shot is most likely why we have Delta now in the first place)
Delta is the Indian variant the was first identified in December 2020, it's much older than the vaccine rollout in most countries. They just renamed it because calling it Indian was racist or something.

I tried to ignore the covid stuff for as long as possible but... now my university has decided that to attend face to face classes and orientation days and basically everything you need the damn vaccine.

I have not taken the vaccine. If the vaccine had undergone more testing, particularly for long term effects, and if I was an elderly person or had health problems, then sure. But it didn't. I don't think it's worth the risk. Besides, I'm told that maybe in a month or less there will be a lockdown again, so what is the point?

I feel really bummed out that I have to live somewhat like a lepper because of this. I'm going to miss face to face classes because I don't have the fucking certificate. My faculty is in a different city than the rest of the faculties and around here, because it is smaller, people don't seem to care much for covid. The faculty staff doesn't even wear masks, and I met the manager of one nearby hotel who is pretty openly vocal about being against the vaccine and hysteria. He even told me a story of someone who knew a woman whose husband got COVID. The wife was so stressed she died of a stroke 2 days after the husband got diagnosed. The husband got cured and lives normally now.

I could spend 60 euros on the fucking PCR test and get a certificate that is valid for 72h, show it in the beginning of the semester and hope nobody asks me about it again. If I get caught I could make up some excuse I guess. I have a feeling that I won't be asked.
On the rare chance I get covid I will probably get crucified, so there's that too.

EDIT: because of this covid bullshit, some months back I got a stomach flu and when i called the health hotline they told me ot could be covid and told me to take the test. I did the next day, then I waited another day for the results, which came back negative. Then i finally went to the doctor, after 3 days of untreated fever and diarrhea and misery, for nothing because I had pretty much cured it on my own while I waited for the damn covid test.

I wonder what long-term impact this will have on actual vaccine uptake when realising it's all been a shitshow enters the public consciousness. Thinking vaccines cause autism did some damage, but a world-over lie of this proportion? How many further lives will incidentally be lost as a result?

Pharmaceutical companies, politicians, and the media are complicit, but so are the fuckers too high off their own farts to realise that humanity isn't above repeating mistakes of the past. The fuckers who stick their fingers in their ears and REEEEEEEEEEEEE incessantly at evidence that contradicts what bullshit they have been spoon-fed instead of taking a moment to step back and think critically about it.

I don't have an issue where someone is simply ignorant, excepting situations where such ignorance could actually harm me; simply lacking knowledge doesn't imply an unwillingness to learn. But people who outright refuse to even contend alternative explanations, those people who are exuberant in their willful ignorance, they piss me off to no end. They are part of the problem too.
Most medicine is useless, treatment of symptoms not cause. The great strides in human health were achieved by good sanitation, antibiotics and vaccines all other medical treatments are either palliative or placebo. We could abolish all other forms of medicine but leave flushing toilets, vax jabs and antibiotics and life expectancy would remain as is (or even improve). Vaccines are wonderful things, they've saved hundreds of millions of people from horrible early death, it would be tragic if people stopped using them because of the current retardation.

Not sure how true this is, but LOL if they want to give people even less reasons to go to movies.

How many policies are these people going to implement to destroy their own businesses? Apparently ALL of the policies.
Honestly most of the Covid passport nonsense is petty punishment for not obeying. I believe Canada has just made attending a wedding conditional on getting the clot shots lol. Going into restaurants and pubs will not be enforced, same with retail stores. Oh it might be for a few days or weeks but then folks will get sick of it and minimum wage workers aren't going to be spending half their day checking their customers papers or making sure they've scanned their QR code. It's mandatory where I live that everyone scans a QR code, 'checking in', before entering any public building. When it was introduced almost every one was doing it which lasted maybe a couple of days. Even though we're in a panic induced lockdown, no one is bothering. If you want to be extra careful just wave your phone in the general direction of the code and the greeter will be happy. Cinemas, sports ball, live events and the like, they probably will enforce the mandates and they're going to get fucked hard. Telling even 10% of their customers that they're not welcome will leave most of these businesses non viable.

Are you sure there are no exemptions? My institution has a "vaccine requirement" that can easily be bypassed by taking some gay course about how safe and effective the vax is and then signing some gay non-medical paperwork.

I don't think mine has that... this is in europe not the US. What gay course is this? It's laughable that you can get around taking the vaccine by taking a course about how you should take vaccine.

School created bullshit. Some places in the US are just as committed to stopping the spread:
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — More than 200 University of Virginia students who didn’t comply with the school’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement have been disenrolled ahead of the fall semester.

The Virginian Pilot reports that the school disenrolled 238 students, including 49 who were enrolled in fall courses.

University spokesperson Brian Coy says that may mean that “a good number” of the remaining students “may not have been planning to return to the University this fall at all.”

Coy says the students were disenrolled after “receiving multiple reminders via email, text, phone calls, calls to parents that they were out of compliance.” They can re-enroll if they comply with the vaccine requirement or file an exemption by Wednesday.

If I went to UVA I would not be so lucky. Their only non-medical exemption consist of a religious one which I would not be granted since my philosophical, moral, or conscientious objections are apparently meaningless.

I mean, how many forms of entertainment like the NBA for example have basically said "half of our audience are evil racist bigots" and then get the Pikachu face when TV ratings are down 50%?

Nobody under 40 dont even has cable TV.

Professional sports are a dieing industry as E-sports are a much better form an entertainment for most.

In 2030 no one will care about the NBA or NFL because they probably wont exist.

NYC didn't even give medical exemptions on their mandates. Right now, anyone with a immunocompromisation is just banned from society there.

I girl I know, who I otherwise find intelligent enough, has this conspiracy that there are actually two different viruses that will both wring up positive antibody tests. Its like she's so close to figuring it out, but yet when confronted with the obvious evidence pointing that hey, maybe COVID is just an overblown cold, she would rather believe some crackpot shit about another 'weaker' virus tricking the tests into think its COVID...
I mean the regular COVID tests (i.e. the ones behind our current casedemic) can be tricked into believing that a piece of fruit or a teaspoon of soda is infected with the virus, so why not believe even the antibody tests are that fallible.
The Covid passports only started to be introduced when the numbers from Israel began to drop. A case fatality rate from the Delta strain 5 to 6 times times higher than that reported in unvaccinated people. I think they're in full blown panic mode right now. If it became known that the vaccines were not only not preventing infections but were actually causing more serious disease it would be tar and feather time.

If there is a large group of non vaxxed it will be much, much harder to hide the truth. The goal is to eliminate the control group so that when Covid avoids the vaccines completely, and it's when not if, the spike in deaths can be plausibly put down to a more deadly Covid strain emerging. Faith in the vaccines will be maintained and the population can be corralled into accepting new mRNA jabs.

I think they're aiming for 90% plus vaccination rates for the entire population, most western nations are sitting at between 60-70%. If the current restrictions don't work expect them to become much, much harsher as in you literally won't be allowed to leave your house on pain of being put in a FEMA camp if you're not double jabbed, even forced vaccinations in some places. They really don't have a choice at this point, the alternative is massive social unrest and government collapse. Sure millions may die but that's a better alternative than admitting they've fucked up.
The saddest and scariest part is how true this might be. Last year had countless "exits" from the "pandemic" up to and including the vaccine. They could've just admitted they "may have somewhat overreacted" to a "bad but not dangerous" situation but they acted based on the data available to them at the time and the media would've covered for them. They could use analogies to other disasters, like ordering an evacuation and all sorts of shit before a category 5 hurricane that suddenly weakens and ends up a much weaker category 1. They'd basically act like many Republican governors did starting with Kemp in Georgia. It would've been over by this year with the vaccines distributed to anyone who wants or needs them and the delta strain being a much weaker strain that gives most people natural immunity. No restrictions or insane vaccine pushes necessary.

They can't now. They've doubled and tripled down. The Covidian faithful will not understand if any of them try and back away. Anyone who puts the breaks on the crazy train will be destroyed from both left and right. Only Democrats I could see doing it are those facing a serious primary challenge and trying to get some populist energy.
Proverbs (of Solomon): "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom..."

Proverbs (of Fauci): "The fear of the VIRUS is the beginning of wisdom..."

Fear is traditionally a virtue in religions and Covidians worship the virus like people worshipped Old Testament God, where if you fuck up from his commandments in the slightest, he's going to rain hellfire down on you and your family and send a prophet to use you as an example of what happens when you disobey. This isn't even just the Bible, that's how a many religions traditionally worked, especially in the Ancient Middle East where people were considered as mere insects before the gods. The Assyrians butchered so many people because not doing so was an affront to the gods they worshipped.

One thing I love about the pandemic is the sociology of it, where you can see all sorts of 20th century totalitarianism (Nazis, Soviets, etc.) intersect with old-fashioned religious fundamentalism (Flagellants, Aztecs, etc). We really are a primitive species.
In 2030 no one will care about the NBA or NFL because they probably wont exist.
The open hatred of the majority of the audience was just the last nail in the coffin. The NFL has been the "No Fun League" for like a decade where you get penalized for trying to play football and the NBA is all about who can dunk the most and look the coolest. The MLB is now about pitching duels and other boring shit only autistic baseball stats analysts care about since that's who runs the league and is on every team. Your average team nowadays would get their ass beat by even a low-tier 80s/90s team.

I had an encounter with a mask nazi at the gym 2 weeks ago that was so weird I've decided to say fuck it I'm going to start lifting at home now in my garage. This weirdo was going up to everyone and getting in everyone's' face who wasn't bothering to wear a mask which sounds like a great way to get your ass beat if he were to try doing that in an inner city gym.

Ironically enough he looked just like the UnseenJapan fag and of course he spent more time walking on the treadmill than anything else.

Everything I use at the gym can either be acquired or built DIY over time anyway.
I noticed that its always the most unfit, porkers who are mask nazis. Other day I was at a grocery store and some fat guy was bitching about no one wearing their masks, and gloating at that dead conservative guy died for not being vaxxed (and of course featuring Bad Orangeman™). Along with being fat, he had a shitty bandana cloth mask and was putting pizza supremes and 2L coke bottles in his cart.
They could get serious and lose weight/get fit to reduce their chances of getting the coof (or any cancer disease for being fat) but of course its just an opportunity to power coom.

I agree, and anyone who has worked in a grocery store will tell you this is a nightmare scenario. It was bad enough when they had to make people wait outside during mandated limited occupancy. Imagine some minimum wage slave sitting there with a government designed scanner system, having to either check papers or scan cards for every customer. It would take the average person 15 - 30 min just to get into the store during somewhat normal hours. Imagine the fights, Imagine the people who lost their card, or whose card doesn't scan right or whatever. People would try to charge through, and they might have very good reason. What if you really need baby formula on the way home from work, but the line to your store is wrapped around the building, and there's a woman arguing with the checker at the front, and it's the middle of winter? I can't even imagine the frustration. People would riot right then and there.

They would absolutely need security, in fact I can see that being a full blown industry if they do really push the vax passports like mad lads. Whole companies would be dedicated to business entryway security and production of technology to track vax passports easier. But at the same time, businesses turning away even 10% of their customers would result in massive losses to the point where many, many of them would close the majority of their stores. Instead of 4 Walmarts in your city, there will be 1 or 2 if you're lucky. If the US govt is willing to tank the economy and fuck over their corporate buddies, I'd be surprised. That's how they all make money.

It might be already posted in an earlier post. The leftists teachers taked the side of Pzifer and Moderna and wants to put the blame on the unvaccinated. https://100percentfedup.com/fl-stud...-home-after-allegedly-being-exposed-to-covid/
Some parents in one Florida county claim to have received strange phone calls over the weekend.

The bizarre calls went out to several families of students living in Flagler County, Florida, where parents were reportedly told that their students were on a “list”, because they “may” have been exposed to someone who “may” have covid.

Because their kids were possibly exposed to other kids that possibly had covid, parents were told their students would not be allowed to return to the classroom till they passed a series of Covid-19 tests.

The school was also pulling kids out of classrooms that were supposedly around other infected kids, and putting them in isolation while their parents were called and told to come and get them immediately.

The Epoch Times reports, On Aug. 8, Jessico Bowman—a director of the Florida Liberty Caucus—received a call from a person who claimed she was from the “health department.” She would not give her name. Nor would she identify which “health department” she represented.

And the ACLU don't give a fuck about mask pollution. https://www.theepochtimes.com/aclu-...ol-mask-mandates-violates-rights_3963455.html

A civil liberties group has filed a lawsuit against South Carolina officials, asserting the state’s ban on school mask mandates violates federal laws aimed at protecting the rights of disabled Americans.

South Carolina’s legislature included a prohibition on school mask mandates in its budget, which it passed in June, and Molly Spearman, South Carolina’s education superintendent, later told each school board that because of that the school districts were barred from requiring students or employees to wear the face coverings.

That order violated the rights of students with disabilities, including those with certain underlying medical conditions that increase their risk of contracting the virus that causes COVID-19, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) argued in a complaint lodged this week.

More specifically, the barring of school mask mandates goes against the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act, the group said.

“Both federal disability rights laws prohibit outright exclusion, denial of equal access, or unnecessary segregation for students with disabilities in public education. Both laws also prohibit methods of administration that defeat the fundamental goals of public schools, that is, to provide an education. Finally, both federal disability rights laws impose affirmative obligations on covered entities to proactively provide reasonable modifications or reasonable accommodations to ensure that individuals with disabilities have an equal opportunity to benefit from their public education,” their lawsuit stated.

Here's a good video on the mental logistics that could be behind the almost-religious ferver of the pro-vax people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtxCVXaeyME

So many of my good friends (who are normally kind and smart people) have drunk the coolaid... Per the dude in the video it's due to long-term uncertainty and fear and clutching onto any idea that will get them out + giving them someone to blame.

Better re-upload that on Bitchute, Rumble and here on KF.

Meanwhile, we might have some hope about the Delta variant, however let's not shout Hurray too soon. Althought it's so tempted to piss off the msm. https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/it-finally-peaked-delta-delta-turns-negative
Ten days ago we said that, according to Morgan Stanley calculations, the Delta wave will peak in 1-2 weeks. Well, golf clap to Morgan Stanley's Matthew Harrison who, with uncanny precision, was spot on and exactly at the midpoint of "1-2 weeks later" the ascent of Delta variant new cases in the US has now peaked, and it's all downhill from here.

According to Bank of America's Hans Mikkelsen, evidence - such as the University of Washington’s IHME model - suggests "the US is now past the peak level of daily COVID-19 infections caused primarily by the Delta variant."

To be sure, there are a few caveats here: while daily new cases – a subset of new infections – also showed a small decline yesterday (to 147,294 from 147,550 the prior day on a 7-day average basis), BofA warns that this data is noisier due to varying levels testing activity and potentially Hurricane Henri.

But even the "much cleaner data" for number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 confirms that the peak is now in the rearview mirror: while the number rose "just" 7.8% the past week which, due to its lagged nature and very rapid pace of decline, Mikkelsen notes that this "is consistent with the US being past peak level infections."

Moreover the recent one-percentage point decline in the COVID-19 test positive rate to 9.32% – another indicator that the US is now past peak level infections – highlights one driver of high daily case counts is merely more testing activity.
