the main organisation is in shambles, all those "IS khorasan" type spllinters aren't really parts of it, they're just older jihadi groups who put on the ISIS name and aesthetics when ISIS was big because they figured it'd boost their reputation. like, boko haram in nigeria at one point declared themselves "ISIS west africa division" or something like that despite having nothing to do with any of the actual ISIS guys in syria and iraq.

Apparently the Taliban are beginning to work on Panjshir. Taliban say they've captured ID cards from the Indian Ministry of Defense.

i wonder if we could have turned kabul into a sort of citystate like hong kong. just forget anywhere thats not a city. turn them into small nations and give them an israely style conscripted military forces.

I would like to ask each of these fuckers what excuse they have for the fact that zero casualties has more to do with the Taliban than with Joe Biden's planning. Also, what excuse they have for the fact that the Taliban is now better armed than ever.

Biden and the Military are still guilty of gross negligence, even if by some miracle every American makes it out alive.

Looks like a couple US congress snuck into Afghanistan.


The two congressmen said they went into their visit wanting “to push the president to extend the August 31st deadline. After talking with commanders on the ground and seeing the situation here, it is obvious that because we started the evacuation so late, that no matter what we do, we won’t get everyone out on time, even by September 11.”

It is going to be a bloody mess.

Daily reminder the Taliban didn't actually do shit w/r/t 9/11. All they did shelter Osama, which they felt they had a obligation to do so as he was a guest.

No chance. Hong Kong worked because it was an island - surrounded on three sides by water, so you could supply it via ship. Singapore is also a port.
