Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

HymanHive believes the Status Quo will assert itself once the media gets its pound of flesh.

Gehenna believes that things are too unstable and getting back to the status quo will be impossible.

I'm leaning with Gehenna because supply shortages are going to grind everything to a halt sooner rather than later.

Supply shortages, the looming Moratorium crisis, several crises previously off-limits but now open, the fact this one is gonna be months long, the continuing civil war, the fact Biden is fucked. Pressure from all sides.

I'm going to disagree with your starting premise. Hillary had extensive personal political experience even before she served in Obama's administration as Secretary of State. Plus extensive expertise in political bribery handling through the Clinton Foundation. When she ran for president I don't know what the main body of her media spin was but she had a LOT to draw on beyond having been married to Bill.

Does Jill have any national level political experience? Or even state level? She studied education and briefly taught English, didn't she? (No disrespect to English teachers - it's a more honest profession than bombing Libya as Secretary of State).

Despite that, they were able to build an empire provided Arabs weren't in charge and globohomo does provide a common enemy for them to fight. Also, they did have centralized authority in Austere Religious Scholar Al Abghdadi and before him, Bin Laden. They weren't infighting among themselves while the US was on the field.

I don't count China because they want to be in charge of globohomo, and thus, do not actually oppose it. They have too many business interests with Silicon Valley to ever get rid of its agenda entirely. In contrast, Islam grows by adherents that directly support MGTOW concerns and has ready-made solutions to offer them. #metoo? Women's testimony is half of a man's. Divorce? Heavily regulated by a court that does not favor divorce and has very specific terms for its implementation. Hypergamy? Wear the hijab, whore!

Islam has the most potential in growth, especially whenever Western countries are stupid enough to import them.

No. She'd have to admit that she was manipulating Biden the entire time to claim experience. Time that contains Biden's biggest blunders in the past twenty years. Also, insisting that she be called DOCTOR is lolcow worthy when she's not an MD.

I think there is a misunderstanding here, so let me clarify. Jill has no interest in holding office herself. Her entire thing is "Your Voice, but My Words". She is content to not be in the history books as the one who did things, but instead to be the woman who made the things actually happen.

I don't believe there's a misunderstanding. I was replying to someone who asked if she might herself run for president. (To be clear, no - not likely at all).

Your comment does now create the entertaining idea of her as some sort of Fulvia figure now trying to marry the next potential president. It's not like she couldn't pillow-suffocate Biden one night and make it plausible. Now, would she then try to marry Kamala is the question. Can you imagine all those progressive Californian voters being pulled out of their homes as if with magnets at the prospect of being able to vote for a inter-racial lesbian first female presidental couple. They'd be zipping through the air like iron filings towards those ballot boxes! :D

I don't think he'd sacrifice his name in the history books deliberately. I'm going with the high on their own farts self-delusion theory. There's enough evidence for it.

Besides, if the goal were forever war, I'm not sure they'd pull out in the first place. They'd manufacture some provocation or attack that reinforced why they'd have to stay. It's going to be harder to go back in now than to have persuaded people to tolerate it "just a little longer".

Wow. I fell behind on this thread when the DDoS attacks began, and have been playing catch-up on >200 pages ever since.
