Taliban offensive of 2021 and collapse of Afghan government.

Crossposting from the Joe Biden News Megathread.

In today's press conference, Psaki claimed that we've evacuated over 80,000 people from Afghanistan. However according to State Dept. cable leaks, as of the 23rd we'd only flown out over 26,000 people.

So in order for this claim to be true, we will have needed to fly out over 50,000 people in the last 48 hours.

Has anyone been keeping a check on flight tracker sites to see what's flying in and out of Kabul, and see if there's any possible validity to these numbers? Because I have big doubts.

Wow I am shocked, you mean the biden administration lies about statistics? I bet they are lieing about vaccinations also.

As far as I am concerned the less people we evacuate that are not americans the better. Why we would go out of our way to rescue literal cowards is beyond me. Give them a rifle and a one way ticket to Panshir and tell them to figure it out. Women and Children can probably come if the woman helped us

and there's confirmed media reports that afghans + other nationals, who had seats reserved to lift off on those (theoretical) planes could not make it past the Taliban on their way to the airport, so a fair number of those C-17s are flying out mostly empty, rather comically.

with those kinds of stories becoming very numerous from folks on the ground there...yea, no fucking way. they tried to 'white lie' their way out and the math does not even remotely add up combined with everything else we've been hearing, even as of very recently, from anyone that isn't the goddamn liars at the WH.

Jesus christ. I knew he was going to trip, but nigga has managed to trip, fall down the stairs, through a window, have his pants pulled off and then explosively shit himself a la tubgirl.

There's nothing uncertain about it, you dishonest faggots. These women have already been turned into property. Young girls are getting kidnapped and married off to Taliban fighters. Why don't you send some female journos there for on the ground reporting and see how it turns out for them.
Why would they even phrase it like this? Qui Bono when pretending it isn't what it actually is?

Taliban Twitter is hinting that the US is clamping down and shipping off journalists.

So, what's the over/under on the Biden administration getting away with all of this.

Because I've doubted from the beginning that anyone like Milley was going to get punished and had a feeling that they were all going to use this on their resume as "MOST SUCCESSFUL AIRLIFT EVER!" for a while now.
depends on how many burgers actually end up left behind in afghanistan for good

if biden declares "evacuation successful!" and then a couple months later we start hearing about hundreds of burger civilians being raped, tortured and killed by talibs because they weren't taken out in the evacuation, that's gonna be real fucking bad on the administration

I'm pretty sure that most of the americans being airlifted are afghanis who worked with the US and got citizenship as a reward. So most of these americans that people are worried about being left behind have been calling Afghanistan their home their whole lives.

those tards nobody really cares about yeah

but im sure theres still a bunch of westerners over there. ngo shills, civilian contractors who worked with the army, journos, aid workers, those types. if a couple of them get stoned to death by jihadis, their families back in burgerland are gonna raise a big stink

Put me down on not - this is too big of a fuck up to sweep under the rug. And even their BlueAnon astroturfed claim of miraculously evacuating 70,000 to 80,000 people appears to be entirely based on numbers of people they got to the airport (which the Taliban is now locking down), and with reports that some of the chartered flights are basically flying back empty who knows how many people are actually getting out.

I just assume they'll get away with it, because they always do. The most consequences shitlibs ever face are a quiet, coy little "UwU we did a fucky-wucky, silly us!"

That way, I won't be disappointed either way.

stop pretending to be retarded lol
Never!

The meme gods mashed up the holohoax with the DKR plane scene: the numbers on the flight plan Biden filed with the agency just don't add up. We saw some survivors falling from airplanes without having been shot, and America's hired guns haven't turned out to be pretty loyal. The 70,700 figure Biden gave also seems magickal.

Looks like there's a convoy of Western military aircraft flying out from Dubai.

Accidentally snipped the top off, but this is USAF registered.

Can't tell if they're all headed for Kabul.

Also while browsing found this one that looks like it's heading in the same general direction.

Tracking flights using Flightradar24 is almost useless, the Stratotankers consistently only blip in when approaching for a refueling and went departing and the various cargo planes don't feel obligated to keep their transponders on while over Afghanistan. I tried this in the early days and you would go half a day and never see a plane. They're more open about keeping transponders on at the moment but from what we're hearing from various tweets is that the military is beginning to pack up and head home already and that the evacuation is ending.

Apparently Reuters came out with a deboonking article on the sixteenth claiming there was no Mickie Dees in Afghanistan, anyone got more info on that?
