Ron Jeremy Indicted on Over 30 Sexual Assault Charges

Ron Jeremy has been indicted on over 30 sexual assault charges involving 21 victims, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón announced Wednesday, August 25th.

The indictments were returned by a grand jury last Thursday, August 19th, but the indictment wasn’t unsealed until Wednesday. Jeremy also appeared in court on August 25th, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. He is scheduled to return to court on October 12th for a pretrial conference.

The charges against Jeremy involve alleged incidents that span a 23-year period, dating back to 1996. The victims’ ages range from 15 to 51. In full, Jeremy is charged with: 12 counts of forcible rape, seven counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person, and one count each of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 or 15, sodomy by use of force and assault with intent to commit rape.

“Far too often, survivors of sexual assault suffer in isolation,” District Attorney Gascón said. “We must ensure that survivors have all options available to help with recovery, including trauma-informed services for healing and support to report such crimes.”

Stuart Goldfarb, a lawyer for Jeremy, told Rolling Stone, “His position is the same as it was when they issued the criminal complaint. He is innocent of all charges.”

Jeremy was first charged with the sexual assault of four women last June; a few months later he was hit with 20 additional counts of sexual assault; and then in October, an amended complaint added seven more charges (Jeremy has repeatedly maintained his innocence). On top of the criminal charges against him, last November Jeremy was hit with a civil lawsuit filed by Charity Carson, who accused him of sexually assaulting her in a hotel room.

I remember when he seemed like a likable, nice guy, you used to see this guy pop up everywhere back in the 2000s.

I was under the impression that once he got old enough that women no longer wanted to have sex with him he took it by force due to being too used to/addicted to it, but to think he was evidently a rapist as far back as 1996, so all those years he was using his "I'm just a lovable scamp!" persona he had that skeleton in his closet, is very creepy to think about.

Is there some mystical connection between hedgehogs and rape? I mean, first CWC, now Jeremy.

For you youngsters, Ron Jeremy's porn nickname was the "Hedgehog" back in the day due to his ultra hairy back and the way he would sorta hunch over while doing the deed.

I never understood why he was in pornos. You'd be watching two hot chicks hiking them BOOM! SURPRISE RON JEREMY!

Nevermind, I'll just burn this VHS tape and jerk off to stick figure drawing I guess.
I think his appeal was schlubby guys living vicariously through him, when you see some muscular stud banging chicks you might feel inadequate, but when it's someone that more likely looks like who's watching, then it's easier to kind of imagine yourself as them perhaps?

lol a bunch of broke whores who are too old to do porn anymore want attention and money.
this. this is the true reason why some women ''remembered'' to accuse him of groping them 30 years later...
when someone assaults you, you report it right away, you dont wait conveniently for 30 years later, so that you can cash in on it for your personal profit...

I’ve been saying the same thing about the Bob Dylan allegations. Assaulted in 1965 and conveniently just now sues? Give me a break.

There seriously needs to be a time limit on being able to report/sue someone over things like that.

Apart from him admitting he did it, how the fuck are you gonna prove anything happened? Video evidence? Of a porn star...?

Make it like 5 years, unless you were a child when it happened. Should be enough. I am not trying to be insensitive here, but how much tax payer money will go into this shit unless he pleads guilty? There needs to be some sort of middle ground between a woman figuring out her feelings on whether she should report a sex crime, and it being decades since and there's no way to prove guilt without reasonable doubt.

In three decades an unwanted touch on the shoulder from a sleazy guy that tried to hit on you can become forceful groping of your privates if you feel bad enough about it happening. And a regretful experimentation with a footlong schlong turns into rape.

And since this is CURRENT_YEAR more likely the accused will have to prove he is innoent. After three decades.
