The He-Man thing gets me. When it was shown that He-Man wasn't stepping aside for Teela, they moved the goalposts saying him being killed proved otherwise, despite part 1 being about Teela working with others to REVIVE Adam.

Well yeah; because when you say it about everything and then just ignore when it doesn't happen and only focus on when it does, it looks like a pretty solid "rule". Like the lady Oceans 11 reboot made back 4 times it's budget and, domestically at least, was the highest grossing since the original. That gets brought up with "Get woke go broke" constantly, and I'm struggling to see how it's even remotely applicable. Falcon and the Winter Solider "go woke" and allegedly failed, right up until it apparently didn't and now you don't really hear about how "woke" that show was anymore. Like even Black Panther was allegedly supposed to be the BLM straw that broke whiteys back., now the best you get is "Well... it was certainly overrated!".
