Seems like the US and Taliban have whipped themselves into a frenzy over a potential ISKP suicide bombing attack on the crowds and have cleared the airport gates and roads leading into to it.

That's not even touching on the fact the MSM has had a hard break with Biden doing to the fact the competing interests within the Admin have triggered a hot war amongst each other.
Wait, infighting (to this extent, at least)? Between who? This is news to me.

Been asked this enough by people who don't follow the other thread.

You have the Cabal, the Handlers. They are made up of three distinct groups:
1: The Progressives. Brought on to appease the true believers, they are socialists and communists. Dyed in the red.
2: The Businessmen. Your Execs, your Social media Companies. If it comes from Silicon Valley, it's here. Doesn't care about politics, just wants to make money. America itself be damned.
3: The Establishment. The group that brought on the other two, it's ideologically leaning but not as far left as the Progressives. It's your Uniparty, works a lot with the RINOs.

Then you have 4: Kamala Harris. Brought on under the proviso of being the Woman Behind the Man, she was instead put in a gilded cage and told to shut up and be pretty,

5: Jill Biden. Until recently no solid proof she was involved, WH leaks show she is right now the person controlling Biden the most. Generally, she's not in it to win it though. She's in it to preserve her husband's (and by extension her own) legacy.

Every group in this hates every other group but they all hated Trump more. They have devolved into a five-way open civil war, which is a large part of why the media has suddenly, out of nowhere fractured as the media interests were loyal to individual Cabal factions and not the Admin itself.

Tracking flights using Flightradar24 is almost useless, the Stratotankers consistently only blip in when approaching for a refueling and went departing and the various cargo planes don't feel obligated to keep their transponders on while over Afghanistan. I tried this in the early days and you would go half a day and never see a plane. They're more open about keeping transponders on at the moment but from what we're hearing from various tweets is that the military is beginning to pack up and head home already and that the evacuation is ending.
These public sites mainly depend on volunteers to run their own ADS-B receivers connected to the internet to upload transponder data.
And there is basically no coverage in that part of the country. There is 1 dude in Kandahar that has a receiver. If a plan flys over him or Pakistan then the website can assume the flightpath to the airport. Just like most flights paths over the ocean are calculated not actual. Thats also why planes sometimes arrive at the airport before flightrader says they should when they cross the seas . If they don't have the newer style satellite based transponder then the website really has no idea where that plane is over the oceans. Or in this case most of Afghanistan.

Only ADS-B receiver in all of Afghanistan. Has no view of the airport to the north east.

Actual transponder coverage.

Satellite based transponder coverage. Not all planes have this and this is likely the only "real" thing you can see on the websites.

You know, we could be using some of those airbases right across the border in the various 'Stans, but that would've required Biden to actually be the diplomatic mastermind he claims to be.
You dont have to be some masterfull diplomate. germany has been flying people out to Tashkent for some time now.

It seems like the Taliban has various helicopters functional and are teaching themselves how to pilot them at Kandahar Airport.

I remember there were concerns/media clickbait about ISIS having an Air Force as well. Thing is, this is probably the hardest thing for any insurgent group to achieve. The technical skills, specialized training, not to mention spare parts means that this can’t be learned fast enough to matter.

I imagine the Taliban might try their hand at flying Helicopters for a few months, realize they don’t have the inbuilt institutional knowledge or understanding and then let them go to scrap.

Makes me think of the lost Chinese tourist who got processed as a refugee in Germany.

Was watching Tucker today and he had on Erik Prince, who did make a great point.

America is paralyzed by the kung flu and lockdowns and mask mandates.

The Taliban took over Afghanistan faster than anyone expected without the Kung Flu slowing them down in absolute horrible conditions healthcare wise.

I hate people losing their shit over a bad flu. ("But muh respirators!" you know what kills people with the flu? DEhydration. You know what killer #2 is? Pneumonia. Fuck modern spineless bubble people.)
But to play devils advocate:
1) Olds are the primary group dying from COVID, there aren't many olds in Afghanistan.
2) much lower population density
3) Much higher population isolation - that is the local population pockets don't interact or intermingle very much.
4) Higer elevation, more UV exposure. Slightly higher rates of virus destruction in the natural environment.

Basically while healthcare is almost nonexistent, they have nearly everything in their favor to slow the spread.

You left out the part where they said they broke it
That doesn't really state that they broke it, just that they repaired the Blackhawk. It could have been damaged from action or intentional sabotage by the ANA when they ran. If they can get the choppers functional to the point they can taxi them around its a big fucking deal. They can move them off the airbases to random locations across the country where the US wont be able to easily bomb them. The original intention a 100 pages back was to fly B-52 in and just carpet bomb the entire airbases and nail the air frames that way. Now it will be a game of hunting them down one by one while the Taliban likely secure anti-aircraft munitions from Pakistan, China and particularly Russia who would love to demonstrate that their S-300 and S-400 systems can handily swat down any NATO interlopers though I would doubt Russia would sell it directly to the Taliban, likely operating it themselves as part of some contract to provide AA to a base like Bagram paid for by China as part of their economic investment plans they have.

>2001
>Taliban removed from power because Bin Laden?
>2021
>Taliban returns and takes over yet again

the '00s may not seem that long ago now
We been living in the eternal present for a long fucking time
depends on how many burgers actually end up left behind in afghanistan for good

if biden declares "evacuation successful!" and then a couple months later we start hearing about hundreds of burger civilians being raped, tortured and killed by talibs because they weren't taken out in the evacuation, that's gonna be real fucking bad on the administration
Will they? where's the people crying over those killed during the nigga riots of last year? has anyone mentioned a name? are their relatives saying anything?

If the democract apparatus could censor the story about the fucking president's son getting caught smoking crack with hookers while laundering money for the chinese then they can certainly cover up some cracker nobody getting fucked by a cameljockey and then beheaded (maybe not in that order) on the other side of the world

Wag the dog
