Unrelated to current discussion but has anyone noticed how 2-3 times a year an explosion of popularity regarding discussing Phil and his antics comes about an dies down a month or two later?
It's pretty easy to tell since I remember in May and June this subforum was pretty dead, but recently I've gotten a lot of recommended videos about Phil's retardation, and an irl friend of mine asked me about Phil the other day.

This totally isn't a bad thing though, love to see this sub active again.

"I GOT CHEATED"

Phil... we all know that you know that there's a second form. Stop pretending like you haven't been told. Nice fake rage. If he genuinely thought that was it he would have absolutely fucking lost it.
Maybe, idk he started playing real real lazy in those final moments, it genuinely seemed like he thought he could kill hades before he died, but I guess it’s possible he just gave up because he had no revives or something

I've always described it as "You know how opiates make you feel good in ways you didn't even know existed? Withdrawl is the exact opposite." Kudos to you for kicking it. My time with them was short, and it was pretty low dose but I learned the lesson. If anything, it left me feeling major respect for anyone who has the willpower to get out from under the really hard shit.

This is the last thing I’ll say, as I don’t (and I’m sure other people don’t) want this to turn into a recovery thread. It wasn’t hard for me to become so dependent on them. When you have lived in unrelenting physical pain for years, and are suddenly given a medicine that not only kills the pain, but puts you in a great mood, and then eventually makes you drowsy so you can sleep, they were like little miracle pills.

Tips visualization as promised (zoom for big version).

These are raincloud plots. For each month there is a probability density function, a box plot, and the individual data points as black circles. The colored box part of the box plot indicates the 25th percentile, median, and 75th percentile with the bottom, middle, and top lines respectively. I had to use a log10 scale for the y axis because of some exceptional whales tipping hundreds (and in once case $1000) of dollars. The thick black lines are just big blobs of data points. Most obvious are the clusters at $1.30 (and also $1.50 in August, big ups PayPal), $2, $4.20, $5, $10, $20, and $50. Also somehow there was a $1 tip in April (not sure how that happened).

Man, I'm a dork, but I love seeing shit like this.

Alcohol is actually one of the few commonly used substances that can end up actually killing you if you quit cold turkey rather than just making you feel like you're dying/wishing you were dead, depending on how severe your abuse problem is not even rehab facilities will let you do it ( where im from, don't know about the US )
One of my very first factory jobs this guy ran out of nips to take from his flask. He walks outside the room we did our thing in, makes this “hreeeeett!” noise, falls backwards as flat as a board and started seizing,

We never saw him again after the ambulance took him away. I don’t remember his last name to look up if he died then or later.

Man I can’t express how much he plays hades like a baboon, he eats so much damage in every other room then picks boons or buys items to get his health back only to immediately lose a chunk of health again, but he hasn’t lost a life yet so I guess it’s working, I said he’ll beat the game when he has enough health to just face tank the final boss lol.

I also love how someone told him on his first or second stream of the game the Athena dash makes people develop bad habits and he smiled and nodded and he’s never going to play the game without it at this point lol

You spoke too soon my dude. He just died eating the Bone Hydra triple slam like it was a custom-homemade Italian chicken bake.

Good shit R is top tier when it comes to visualizing stuff. Those are the most fucked up tails in a distribution that I have ever seen

Yeah lmao, a fucking ape would be better at this game than him.

he also whined about the RNG because he hasn’t gotten a cast boon, when he did get one and chose a boon for health over it.

he’s gotten so many health upgrades he might be able to face tank hades at this point though…just kidding his boomer reflexes made him loose all his revives at the 3rd boss lmao, I wonder how much of this is he just can’t see when enemies are attacking

Current state of the stream

Just about to end, but Phil of course stalling

$73 in tips, including a last minute $30 from Oro Tuetle

Phil facetanked the boss

He's constantly blaming his build when you can beat Hades on 0 heat with just about anything. The build for my first successful escape was hot garbage. He is also heavily reliant on spamming deflect dash since it apparently hasn't occurred to him that you can time your dash instead of brainlessly mashing it off cooldown and hoping you don't get hit. He will never beat this game until he gets the deflect dash and a lucky Hermes boon that gives +3 dash charges.

Didn't his cabal of retards give him advice on a build (and usually they try to make it as easy as possible)?

Chat is holding his hand a good bit but it's not really about the boons he's picking. He's bitching about which boons are spawning. He really expects to be able to get the same shit every run and if he doesn't get it he's convinced himself it's unwinnable.

EDIT: Hades stream in a nutshell

mrminecraftish1 is 100% Lyciversoul, they literally weaved tips into each other. Anyone who thinks otherwise anymore better give me some god damn solid evidence showing they are different people.

(super crackpot theory): he is also ThePastryarchy (unless he's already been doxxed), he is so fucking obsessed with Danganronpa I could easily see him making some faggy deal with Dave to support it through it's entire playthrough.

Phil gave the full accident story on August 22, 2019 during playing Judgment.

He had just got on the highway and changed to the left lane while going "35 to 40mph", the speed limit was 55.
Phil also has never worn his glasses while driving and has always been legally required to wear them while driving.

Basically Phil cut someone off, was driving at or below the highway minimum speed in the passing lane, is blind as a fucking dingbat, freaked out and "swerved back and forth across both lanes 3 or 4 times."

Oh, and somehow none of this is his fault. Nothing he could do. "The guy must've been going 100mph!!!" The guy certainly couldn't have been driving 55mph when blind-ass granny Phil suddenly cut him off doing 35mph, nope the dude was totally going "100mph" according to Phil "World's Most Humble & Reliable Narrator" Burnell.
New details provided tonight about the car accident that burned off half of Phil's face and left him with permanent brain damage (I assume):

- He was getting onto the highway/parkway from high school. The alleged speed limit was 55mph on this parkway.
- Phil was 'just changing lanes' after getting on, going from right to left (I assume, per standard, the left lane is supposed to be for passing at a higher speed...)
- Phil was going 30-40 mph when he was doing this. Phil emphasizes this, presumably to show how innocent he is. He doesn't mention why he got into the passing lane after having just merged onto the parkway at 10-20 under the limit, but sure.
- As Phil changed lanes, someone (I speculate it was Tevin), came up going 100mph. Phil is sure of this because of the speed that they were coming at him, it must have been 100mph. Double the limit, extremely illegal. Please note that these people were presumably in the passing lane.
- Phil, calculating that they wouldn't be able to stop, exclaimed 'oh shit' and veered into the right lane again
- Upon doing so, he overcompensated and went "ding" (I suspect it was not a "ding") and hit the guard rail/divider/"rail-rail-railing"
- THE CAR then lost control and crashed (please note: it was THE CAR that lost control)
- If the other car was not going insanely illegally fast in that left lane, he would have been able to lane change safely
- If Phil had not got out of the way and "caused the accident [he] caused", it would have actually been worse because the guy would have rear ended him. That was a direct quote there.
- Everyone probably would have died in that scenario, so Phil's personal Paul Walker Experience was "the better of two situations".
- A dash cam would not have helped, because it wouldn't have seen the guy coming behind him.
- Phil got angry at people in the chat for stating that it was his fault.

So, in conclusion, Phil's accident was his fault, he was driving like an idiot by his own admission, probably without his glasses, and a dash cam probably would have only verified that Phil was going 20 below the limit and immediately moved into the left lane after merging for reasons that are, at best, nonexistent. This is some of your shittiest work, Phil. Stop relying on retcons and try to get the story at least half-right the first time.

Posted this in the wrong thread.

The whole FF13 Lightning Returns highlights the whole Phil spectrum.

He Doesn't Care.

Like at all, he'll shove it out and just expects people to drop shit tons of cash regardless of the quality of content. Phil just doesn't give a flying ass about the quality of his content and his reaction during Fall Guys is pretty much on par. Phil will push out sub quality content on a daily bases and fleeces his fans for everything they have and pretty much expects more, but i honestly even his whales are starting to falter trying to keep the King of Whales afloat.
