Plagued Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

Not just the UK, or just fast food, junk food, in general, is just normally better for you and higher quality in most counties outside America.

The reason why the big American chocolate makes is seen as a joke elsewhere. Or why you hear Americans jizz over Mexican Coke.
American chocolate tastes like vomit, I don't know how they manage to get so fat when that's what they have to eat.

They don't really, they only think they do. There have been a number of blind taste tests that have shown either no preference or even a preference for the American formulation. People think they'd like it better because it's different and not something that's typically available where they are, but it's not because it actually tastes better.

Also, people who think that HFCS is inherently unhealthier than sugar need to take a remedial chemistry class.

Mexican coke is just as bad for you as american coke, it's still empty sugar and calories. At least burgers have protein from the meat. Fries are bad for you regardless of where they come from. All this sperging about additives in food that's still complete trash is like being a junkie and saying it's ok because you're addicted to morphine instead of heroin or fentanyl.

Cadbury is abhorred by Europeans for the same reason. It’s mostly vegetable fat.

I can't even feel pity for people like this. They're such empty, vapid husks that I can't help but feel they're getting what they deserve when they confuse genuine human connections and interactions with debt-inducing toys that inevitably decay and break or otherwise lose their dopamine-inducing luster. This person in particular isn't even capable of appreciating the characters they apparently love from any legitimate or emotional angle, seeming to boil everything down to a character's physical appearance and whether or not they're "worth simping over", which seems like some arbitrary quality that is predicated primarily on popularity. It is sad that they're either writhing in their own filth and loneliness behind the scenes or they will come to realize their empire of dirt is ultimately worthless before long but I just can't bring myself to feel bad about it.

I always find with these types that they're more into picking up expensive figs for whatever is the most popular character at the time, they never really stick to a specific character or series. Use it as a means to show off to others and be part of the 'in' crowd, rather than actually a personal liking of the character. They might say they're doing it because they love the character, but it's always the same character that everyone's liking at the time. It makes their collection feel scattered and overall generic feeling whenever they show them off, you get the same problem on any of the collection forums (especially the numerous reddit ones).

Anyone with a half-developed palate can tell the difference between cane sugar and corn syrup. They have a fundamentally distinct flavor.

The problem is people just scarf down food without actually thinking about what it tastes like. If you spend a few extra seconds tasting food you’ll come to disdain processed foods.

Reminder Europeans eat horse meat.

Horse meat is alright. Though, the main issue with it stem from some sleazeballs who've tried to pass it off as beef a few years back because they thought people wouldn't notice the difference.
Yeah, it was found in products labelled as beef during random quality control checks and then that turned into a lot of finger pointing about exactly where it entered the supply chain. Horse meat itself isn't dangerous to eat or anything but beef is supposed to be fully traceable according to food safety standards so if it's not even the right kind of animal, there's a big problem with the system.

The issue is that horses are doped with drugs like hormones and steroids which are not safe for humans.

Which is something that properly labeled horse meat already is tested and checked for. It's why the whole mystery horse meat scandal was such a big news case back then because it exposed a weakness in testing and labeling meats.

Super Size Me was a mistake
Mukbangers made me MOTI. They're like... demons. Embodiments of gluttony.
They also remind me of The Fat Man by Joe R. Lansdale

Reminder Europeans actually make butter properly.

That's right. America (and the UK) can't even make a basic, fundamental cooking ingredient properly. Literally the entire Anglosphere is a bunch of inbreds. I mean sure America isn't as inbred as the UK, but it's inbred enough to be continually fucking retarded. America is the only country in the world where you can get salmonella from eggs because the USDA requires eggs to be washed in some kind of chemical bath, stripping the impenetrable layer from the eggs and allowing them to become susceptible to infection.
